When your heart is broken because you found out he was betraying you long before he ended it. I'll never trust again. I'm beyond devastated. Too scared to sleep cos of the nightmares. Sadly, I gave him my all, I believed in him, built him up, stuck up for him even when he didn't know, I protected him, I was selfless, I was sexually 100% explicit with him, I was loyal to major degrees. I'm now frozen, crippled in anxiety and can't even approach him. No doubt he will have replaced me by now. The things I want to say are eating my insides but I'll never get my chance to vent my hurt as he will make me the villain of his own crime and him the victim. I've learned to keep my mouth shut. Trouble with that though, I'm then called out for being ignorant and ignoring. I can't win, not that I want to but this sh!t hurts real bad and from the one person I believed would never hurt me. I should have followed my gut through all the drunken slip ups rather than pretend all was ok. I feel like a worthless nobody. I'm empty and he doesn't even see it. All I ever want is respect from a person and I've been utterly disrespected. Yip, this what once was a very strong woman is broken. I COULD NEVER HURT A PERSON THE WAY HE DID ME 😢
I could have wrote this whole thing a few years ago. Every word. I just want to tell you that YOU ARE ENOUGH. And from someone who's gone thru it... one day you'll wake up and it won't hurt as much. In fact that man will disgust you and you will think of him and feel disgust toward him. The disgust will turn to apathy. I now, 5 years later feel just apathy for the man for betrayed me so horribly. So I wanted to let you know... it will get better. You deserve to get back the same love you'd give. Don't settle for less, and from now on always listen to your gut! I ignored my gut feeling back then and was told I was crazy, and turns out everything I felt, was right. Those gut feelings are real. I am still working on my trust issues but as I worked on self love I began to realize that if another man cheats on me it will be HIS loss because I'm awesome, Im a good woman, I am deserving of love and respect. I'm willing to bet you're pretty amazing too. I know it really sucks right now, and you basically have to grieve the relationship as if the man you loved, the man you THOUGHT he was died... thats how painful it is. but I just wanted to give you some hope that it will be OK. Don't ever loss sight of this one thing: that you are worthy. You deserve love., loyalty, and respect. ❤
