Why is Press Freedom on a Sharp Decline?

During the last decade we have seen numerous crackdowns on the media in nations like China, Russia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Brazil and more. In this video we visualize how the development has been globally. Is this a problem only with leaders like Donald Trump and Jair Bolsonaro or is there a larger trend? And what does it say about the future.

A very interesting analysis - simple but quite pointed and understandable. It's good to stand up and look around the horizon from time to time. Clearly there are problems.
