Got tired of someone using this strategy in the game with a afk ammo supplier, so i started sniping at him and got his ammo guy, come to find out he was the owner of the server and banned me.
To clarify, although this video doesn't have a lot of views, this playstyle seems to be more known in Asia. Google "aa 火箭炮" and click on one of the BiliBili videos, there is one with 4500 likes and 60k views. Additionally, a few comments say that it auto-detonates after ~250m, damages anything in a spherical 25m radius, and ignores elite armor! There's a whole debate in its comment section about whether you should use it. Some players say it's okay to use in official servers (where there's basically no protection from hackers/exploiters/cheaters) but are strongly against it in rented/private servers. Other say it's fine because the game is dead in updates, the game has been unbalanced since launch, and only the community is left to decide the rules. In my opinion I don't think it's scummy if the rules aren't enforced, humans will eventually use the meta tactics in the end.
At the end of the day it's part of the game so I don't really see any issues with doing strategies like this, since every game has some sort of "cheese" like this. It may seem broken on a larger scale but you can just snipe the guys doing it, counter them using the same strategy or use the landship's mortar to bombard them with. Not to forget that it's highly ineffective against the tanks themselves. I already suspected that this is more known among chinese players because I had a full squad of chinese guys do it when I was doing it with a friend, but it doesn't really surprise me since asian players are usually the ones who actively try to find exploits in games. May it be gameplay related or technical exploits, doesn't really matter.

It is ridiculously bullshit on the final sector of verdun in ops. One player can easily cheese over a hundred kills by just shooting at the hill. In private ops servers, you can get banned for doing it
It s a real weapon, but it fired 37mm shell ( it was ripped out from the renault ft(light tank ) and adapted to infantry use ) it was used against infantry and mg nest
I've been there before I knew about this strategy. Basically you just die to some random explosions mid-air and it will show you that your killer is far across the whole map like a sniper. If I (or any other solo player) killed you then you'd probably see him sit on a horse aswell :D
man two questions: 1. Is this only possible in this sector on the wolga map? 2. How the hell did u do this with the horse? whenever i respawn the horse is gone within 10-15sec. U need 8 sec to respawn, its not possible at all..
No it is also possible on other sectors and on both teams, as well as on a few other maps such as galicia or verdun (last sector). In order to get a horse you either need a friend to hold it or be lucky to spawn close to it (you have ~5 seconds to get to it in time by default). My strategy is to redeploy while some allied tanks are passing it, so that it lives for a few seconds longer and can secure you the horse. Or find an allied sniper who is just being stationary, but you need to be sure that he WILL NOT steal your horse. Good luck!

@@BIGBISON14 Just set your radar to 250 meters in the options, as the AA rocket gun's range is roughly the same distance. so once your map is set to 250 meters, the AA rocket gun will explode roughly around the edges but it may still need slight repositiong to find the perfect distance.
The horse/support ammo pouch will resupply some (i know it works for scout flares and rocket guns) gadgets upon pick up. The crate will resupply at a steady rate AOE.
Pretty much, but you also need to know the distance that the AA-Rocket requires for the projectile to explode mid-air. It has a massive blast radius and hurts any kind of infantry (even elites) by 40 damage on average when it explodes mid-air. Though this means that it will only work when you found a sweet spot for the AA-Rocket's maximum distance, otherwise it will either travel too far away or impact something and have no splash damage. It requires a lot of trial and error until you find good sweet spots, but once you've found them, you can utilize them to rack up a lot of kills and possibly make it impossible for enemies to capture certain objectives if doing so with a full squad. If you're alone like I am in this video then you need a horse otherwise you run out of ammunition. And of course you need to expect that people call you a cheater when doing this because the strategy is mostly unkown.
Probably in the thousands at this point :D But it won't work on these maps because they're too small, it only really works on maps that have quite a lot of (preferably open) space.
The AT version wouldn't be more effective, sure it can be used to instantly kill single enemies through direct impact at close/medium range and is objectively the better choice in small maps, but it isn't capable of mass killing at long range in huge maps like the AA version. Or do you think the multikills seen in this video could have been made using the AT gun as well?

I can't find any videos about this except this one. But it doesn't seem that broken unless you know where to shoot
@@Sz_zach you can set radar to ~250 range and just use the edge of the radar a marker for where it'll explode
