Again I subscribed to another Dutch channel. I think this is a great idea for any hunting, fishing, outdoor plans that you have. Love to see when the girls join in with the adventures. That is a really nifty tent, and I want to see the whole family camping.

I already watched this but wanted to say I love the channel name and the tent. Its so cool to hear the water at night. It makes the sleep so much better.

Nice. When I lived up in Utah, I took my two boys to Furnace Creek Death Valley every year for Christmas and camped for a week in a Kodiak 10x10. Fantastic tents. We had 70 mph winds one night and the tent did flap, but when I walked out in the morning every other nylon tent had been flattened. If you had to, those tents could be home for months on end.

Great equipment you have there. You might want to drill some half inch screws into the joins of the stovepipe if you guys get a lot of wind where you live. I have the same stove, and I live in Newfoundland, Canada where we get a lot of wind. Wonderful to watch a dad camping out with his daughter. That bond becomes so great when you enjoy doing these things with your kids.

I debated between the Kodiak cabin tent and the 10x14 flex bow and opted for the flex bow due to its one-man setup time. I wish the flex bow had a stove jack, but I'm going to cut one myself for my Winnerwell Nomad stove. Nice video, mate. Enjoy your Kodiak tent.

It’s a great canvas tent… imagine if it had an inner 1” frame, it’ll be really nice.
    Good video man 👍

I got the same stove about 4 years ago. I went to harbor freight and got a welding skirt and I use it as a mat. It works great. And it's cheap.

I have the same tent, it is amazing. I do use a ground tarp under it though, gives me an extra layer of protection. I also recommend the 8X8 awning option. good choice. I would've burnt off the paint off the stove before setting it up inside, those first fumes must've been nasty.

i lived in a canvas tent for two years while building a 16x16 cabin in the middle of nowhere. i wanted it to be 20x20, but we're stuck using what we have sometimes. the only things i did to it were spray the top with water proofing stuff (can't remember what kind), and that second winter i threw a plastic tarp over the top.
lived in there fairly comfortably and had plenty of space for the two of us. i don't know that this one would last staying up 24/7 that long but a couple of weeks at a time should be alright for a few years.

Thanks for the video. Ive been looking at this tent for a while now, but the specs only show the entire weight of the tent, poles etc.
Any idea how much just the tent weighs?
Im a Navy vet and my back is fubar from my time in service, so weight is an issue.
Thanks again, I subscribed and look forward to new videos.

Looks like a nice roomy tent. Would be like getting caught in a spider web at night if you had to go outside. I like my pyramid tent. One center pole and no ropes.

Air matrices sucks heat from you. Bad idea. Roolie mistake that most people make. Use foam or something with only enough air in it your body can heat and maintain. Your body puts off one tealight candles worth of heat. Just some tips.
