- It sounds like something out of a Hollywood movie, but the bizarre incident with Michael Packard and a humpback whale was actually reality. He was diving off the coast of Provincetown, Massachusetts, when the occurrence happened. While some say his story is a bit fishy, scuba diver Rainer Schimpf had an almost identical experience two years ago, and has the photos to prove it! Experts say there is about a 1-in-1-trillion chance of getting swallowed by a whale. #InsideEdition

On some of the great whales (not sure of humpbacks) it's actually impossible for them to swallow something as large as a human because their esophageal opening is too narrow due to eating only small fish and crustaceans.
So this couple of whales were just chilling near a fishing boat, when the male whale said: "Hey, let's swim under their boat, and blow the air out of our blowholes and let's capsize their boat, it'll be fun! " "Okay let's do it!" replied the female whale. So they did just that, and then the male whale said: Okay and now let's eat them! To which the female replied:
"Nah, I agreed to the blow job, but I am NOT swallowing the sea men!"

People do it all the time to ensure nothing is wrong when they've encountered a dangerous situation (such as a car accident, for instance) and seemingly escaped with no injuries. Not saying anything about his case either way, but that would be the reason why.

It's physically impossible to be swallowed by a whale, especially a humpback whale, their throat is way too small only around 4 - 8 inches. He may have just swum into the mouth but not swallowed. :/

@@rl2769 what’s your point? They eat small shrimp and like you said, bait fish. A large human physically could not fit in a whales esophagus.
