    Cindy - thanks for taking the time to produce this series! I'm not a particularly artistic person, so I find quilting lines or using a grid for designs is fun for me. My brain isn't quite ready for filling up those blank spaces with FMQ, so breaking down those areas really helps. It's also very helpful to see the design applied to a finished piece. Thanks again!

    What do you use to mark your grids? I see blue, but is that pencil, chalk, or what?

      Hi Cheryl, I use the blue wash-away marking pens by Clover. They wash out completely in cold water. I also talk more about marking your quilts in my book, "The Grid Design Workbook". Hope you'll check it out!
