We bought the Air 400 version last year as I wanted a smaller tent to what we usually use. And it’s been brilliant, however you can’t really have the doors open in the rain, with the sloped front/side. So we are now looking at this XL version. I should have just got this one to start with 🙄🤣 Oh well.
We have this tent. It’s a good tent, however it’s would be a much better tent with a door to enclose the porch opening. I can see this opening grabbing those high wind causing all sorts of issues. A door would also provide added security for,(in our case), the camp kitchen, tables and chairs. Not complaining.
Yes definitely the biggest negative of this tent is not having an enclosed porch. We have one on our Hampton 8 tent and I could go without now, such a handy space when you can close the door. Thanks for watching!
They are meant to be straight, may need inflating a little more or may be a little twisted, or might need pegging out a little tighter. Hope that helps, thanks for watching!
@@cyclingn8 I have same issue on one beam on my Sprayway valley M and the only solution is to replace the beam!! Even 8 psi doesn't cure it, and tightening the guys just pulls it down further. As soon as i saw this, I've eliminated it from my list of next tent
I have just been away with this tent for the first time this week. I pegged out the 4 corners then pumped all the beams then attached the rear guy ropes then the front guy ropes to tighter it all up. The tent takes about 10 mins to set and pump then about 10 mins to set all the guy ropes. Awesome tent and has a great week in it in Cornwall. Would highly recommend.
@@adnanmajeed6916 we recommend it,there is mostly only 2 of of us going to use it so using the 2 beds as just 1 big bedroom with the centre parting moved.😊
@@adnanmajeed6916we defo give the thumbs up,plenty of space especially as there mostly going to be the 2 of of us using it so we're rolling up the centre curtain in the bedroom and using it as 1 large bedroom.

The sloped door is a negative on the 400 air, but at least you know what you want now! Happy camping and thanks for watching!

You didn't leave a description of the Hampton A like you said in your video.
Here is the link to the Hampton 8 video I mentioned ua-cam.com/video/V8ltqCdSYWQ/v-deo.htmlsi=vyV1eVNEj5Ce_r4k thanks for watching!
Is there a door you can buy separate for the porch?
No there isn’t anything extra you can buy to enclose the porch and have a door unfortunately. Thanks for watching!
Amy idea why last beam seems little bent? I have exactly the same look in my tent and wondering if this is normal for this model

Can you fit two double airbeds in the bedroom(s)?
Yes you will get two double airbeds in no problem. Thanks for watching!
Can the bedroom be made as just a single one room and the divider fold up to the roof of the tent and stored ? Please and thanks
Yes it can be rolled up and clipped out the way so you can have one large bedroom. Thanks for watching!
@@cyclingn8 ah nice one and thanks for reply !!
Whats the bestt way to erect this?
Put 4 pegs in each corner then inflate?
Or inflate with no pegs and peg after its "risen"?
Yeah, peg down the four corners and then get pumping. Thanks for watching!
