Looks relatively simple. Mavic wheels are some of the best pair of wheels that I've ever ridden.

I have been using MG chemicals white thin lithium grease with loose Ceramic Zirconium balls on my older freewheel hubs and it’s night and day difference. Not as nice as these freehub wheels but still can bring an older bike into the future. Great simple video here!!

Awesome video people! I am thinking about buying some Fulcrum racing zero, or Mavic Ksydium wheels. I like the Mavics, but don't know if they have Ceramic Speed bearings. How do I tell?

Hi +Johnnyhumbkr. The Mavic wheels don't come with CeramicSpeed bearings integrated. However, you can always upgrade your Mavic Wheels by getting a CeramicSpeed wheel kit compatible to the set you decide for. You can find the compatibility matrix for the Mavic wheels here: www.ceramicspeed.com/sport/techlab/wheel-kits-compatibility/mavic-model-list/. Hope this helps.

Just letting the degreaser evaporate won't work. The dust, grit or wear material won't evaporate.

Hi there. What would be the procedure for the Mavic Ksyrium Pro Disc wheel for Centerlock rotors? Should a ring be removed on the dust cover side? If so, how? By hand? Thank you in advance for your reply.

Hi Phaidrus. For a Mavic Ksyrium Pro Disc wheel, you should follow the same instructions as seen in the
video, but make sure to use the proper Mavic key to match your model. That will help you unscrew the ring as shown in the video, and then the procedure should be the same.

What year would my kysirum elite s hubs be as they only have an Allen Key hole on the drive side and a wrench to remove the cassette / hub and body, not as the video.
