What upsets me the most about the situation (assuming this is her partner and those are her kids) is that the kids don't know what they are doing is wrong. in fact their parent (I'm assuming) was telling them to go in the middle of the race so the kids are just listening to what their parent is saying without knowing its inappropriate in this situation
it all would have been different if they just celebrated together after the finish line

Plus it looks like she had another runner right behind her, so that could’ve lost her first place finish. And runners do often really care about their times, and beating their personal best if not beating all the other runners, so interrupting like that just messes up her pace and time.
She was the female winner. Male winner came in way before this happened. The way she interacts with him after looks like the guy behind her is her pacer or coach, but still a bad situation

Ngl I always assumed the kids were meant to run alongside her. My dad’s a runner and there’s a few times when me and my siblings have ran the last 50 or so metres with him to win the race. Still think the dad was in the wrong tho bc it definitely doesn’t seem like that was agreed beforehand

I read about it (I am brazilian) she actually meant that, she wanted to have them to run with her right before the finishing line, but during the end she since it was going down she couldn't slow down, the kids understood and there wasn't anything much, there is even a picture if her and the kids
Absolute dum dum, I can imagine him saying something like ‘see kids, your mum cares more about running than you’ just because he has to parent them when she’s training but refers to any time with his kids as ‘babysitting’.

If you end up touching anyone during a marathon like this before finishing the race, you can and will be disqualified. Also, he intentionally pushed his kids in front of a stampede of adults, going downhill! They could have been trampled!

Even moms are allowed to say "f*ck them kids" every now and then. The husband seems like the type to use weaponized incompetence. Will wash the dishes wrong on purpose so she wont ask him to do it again. Those are the vibes im getting from him.

Just finished watching every Scroll Deep video (post rebrand) and it's fair to say I'm a massive fan and this is absolutely one of your highest quality episodes as yet.
And personally I feel lil Cerveza and lil Cristal are solely at fault here and should be jailed for their crimes

To be honest, imo, she didn't acknowledge her kids because she was angry and tired. She has not spoken out in public suggests everything she had to say was in private.

Yea, of all the articles and sites and articles and everything else. There has not been a single bit of proof these are her kids and husband. Please post proof that that is true. Second thing i have heard alot is that he was supposed to have them at the end of the race by design by both of them. So we should figure out if this is even true and if she was annoyed and if this even happened the way the internet is mad about.

Yes, the runner is Brazilian. The race is Brazilian. She posted about this on Instagram back in June 2023, in Portuguese.

Understandable and usually I'd agree but eventually intentional ignorance of something your partner trains months to do and that is important to them is malicious. That's intentionally choosing to give such little care for your partner, it's just plain disrespectful.

seems just like a bit of poor planning to me - husband and kids come to support at the finish line, push kids forward a step or two (considering the path is going round a corner here, it's not THAT far in the way) to high five / run with / wave at mum, but kids being kids they aren't efficient or precise. a careless mistake was made, sure. but wild that people are calling this narcissistic or that he wants her to trip her up

Nah. She's posted an update since then. She wasn't expecting to be leading the race and the second place woman was 20 seconds behind. He had no way of knowing about the second place woman she was trying to beat.

Someone else made a similar comment about it being part of a plan, in which case both mom and dad are idiots. The guy behind her was right there! He could’ve tripped over her or tripped over the kids. He could’ve seriously injured one of the kids - you know how much power a person that size (running full speed) has behind them! Also, not to mention hurting himself. Also those kids were way too little to be running up to a finish line at that speed, anyway that’s my rant 🤷🏻♀️ Like I said, if it was part of a bigger plan then they’re both self-involved morons

He never even thought about his children’s safety. His only thought was sabotaging his wife’s special moment and achievement. Many people do this unconsciously, but I will venture to say men do it regularly and weaponize their incompetence. You can’t beat your chest and say I’m a man, I’m smarter and better, yet do something dumb like this. If he knows how to tie his shoes and chew gum, then knew exactly what he was doing and shoving his kids out there was foolish.

My aunt has an entire course based around mum guilt, she wrote it heraelf and im so proud of her, my youngest cousin is a rainbow baby and my aunt went through post partum depression and it destroyed her for so long, she would eat a bar of chocolate and left overs from her toddlers plate and that would be her for the day and now shes thriving, she has her own dance excersize classes annd turned her own mums guilt into a course for other mums

My son recently ran his first half marathon. We went to watch the last leg, and even though we aren’t runners-we know not to interfere with a runners pace. Also, a runner was on her heels so to speak. If she’d stopped or slowed she’d be second. Yeah, let her have her moment and celebrate afterward.

It's abundantly the goal was for the kids to grab mom's hands & finish the raise with her. Watch the girl in pink closely. She's at the age where she can follow instructions from dad & has an emotional attachment to the scenario with mom. The younger one is a little slower on the uptick as she's obviously confused. The pink one, mission failed & moment lost, goes & crys on dad knowing the exciting moment is now gone.
Say what you will about Mom & Dad, the the situation is clear watching the body language of the 2 kids.
