The fact of the matter is that its a LOT easier for a man to abandon his family than for a woman. And yet ive seen so mant stories like this where the dad just decides "hey i dont like this" and dips. The woman has no say in the matter. You knocked her up, bro. It takes two to tango. Why is she the only one who has to take responsibility?
I think I have only really heard of this happening with a woman I knew once or twice. And when it did, the dad also dipped and the grandparents had to take the kids. But it happens so often with men. They just one day decide that being a parent isn't fun anymorw
my dad did that to his previous marriage before my mom :\ and his dad abandoned his family too, they thought he died.

So he wasn’t paying child support the whole time he was gone?
Considering lots of men don't pay anything, even while present or their location being known, it doesn't surprise me that he paid nothing while hiding
I'm only 2 minutes into the video but basically most of the time child support is only legally mandated if you have some kind of custody agreement, which usually only happens if you're divorced or otherwise legally separated. But when your spouse just dips unexpectedly and is impossible to contact, I expect it would be difficult to obtain that kind of legal recourse. Iirc there are ways to have someone's custody removed without them signing off on it, but it's very difficult.

I wish we could just make the same for missing people, like the really missing people. The only scary part about this is having proof of how incredibly effective and unstoppable the internet community can be in tracking a person down, yet how horrendous groups of people still manage to fly under the internet's radar.
I get what you are saying and I do agree, but people who have been abducted, beaten, are inebriated or were drugged or somehow restricted in how they can communicate and seek help for themselves also cannot be found as easy. Because they usually didn’t disappear with the intention to disappear, someone else made them disappear. They don’t walk away from everything without a trace as if it’s a choice.
This guy just decided to walk away and pretends and lies as if he didn’t abandon his family and as if he wasn’t a deadbeat dad and a terrible husband, though he is. People like him also can’t stay away from looking for other people to confirm his own delusional grandure, so he’s easy to find because of course he’s trying to find a new date and new jobs and new people to adore him, because he really believed he got away with abandonment and everyone just would love him no matter what. That’s so different than someone who would want to get help but can’t and genuinely can’t access the resources or ability to try to reach their loved ones and go back home. He had all the resources and just chose to live a lie and manipulate others. It’s very different.
@@Carrybean Oh yes, of course it's a very different situation. He's a douchbag, and that's it. I was just "thinkinh out loud". It just occurred to me that it would be nice if we could find this "easily" people who need finding.

This is exactly why those laws were made. Too many men thinking their legal responsibilities are identical to their moral ones. If there is no legal responsibility... then they just shrug and walk way from the families they created.
@scrolldeep
You actually have more influence on the future morals of these 15 year olds watching than you think. Studies have found a strong male roll model telling teen boys that r@pe is wrong does more to stop r@pe than anything else.
It's so powerful, charities now exist that allow men to volunteer and be that strong male roll model teen boys need.
If you look into the psychology of how important strong moral men are to both boys and girls, you would be filled with just a ton of anxiety from the weight of that responsibility.

Tbh, if you don't want to be with your spouse anymore, that's fine. Divorce her and handle your business as a father. It's so often that people wish to blame the mother in the situation, but legitimately, We have to stop. He made the choice to date a woman who already had two kids. He made the choice to marry said woman. They both agreed to have two more. And then he made the choice to leave. Everything that happened afterward is a result of his actions. I don't really like the concept of putting your business online like this, if I'm being honest. But if he actually just dipped on his family, I don't think he gets that much grace.
