Thank you so much for this video. I am aching to go back soon. I also like the cultural aspects of life in Nepal. When you see something for a brief moment in passing there is no understanding of the background or the reasons behind it. When you stop and take the time to investigate and take part then understanding and empathy happens. Love your videos. Keep on keeping on.
I love watching your Nepal videos and seeing that not all is as we're led to believe. Between the incredible scenery and the lovely people I always end up with a big goober grin. Thank you! :)
You are a very sweet person and i love you, and that was a very very nice video, and those potatoes look delicious and thanks for upload Jerome from Florida
That’s what I was saying to Christine during the livestream.Christine is an ideal host for travel show as she has nice personality, respectful to others, photogenic, adventurous, articulate, bubbly.
U should give a shot work on telly Christine.u are confident, well spoken, well travelled, beautiful, face made for telly with great personality.if u get older I think lesser chance work on telly.
4:59 😂😂 ..anyways, he did mention that the experience differs depending on season and I'm sure that the women aren't ploughing fields all year long.. p.s. 6:36 that woman looks like she belongs somewhere on the front cover of NatGeo.
I love the jab at gender inequality in Nepal. As a Nepali-American, we all know that human rights and gender equality are still a long way from perfect in Nepal. Love your videos Christine!
+Pratik Nyaupane It's interesting to see so much physically laborious jobs for women in Nepal! And yet, no country is perfect. Gender inequality swings in the opposite direction when you cross over to other countries- where men are in ALL the jobs or countries like the US where inequality is in subcontext and between the lines.
Men don’t stay at home..most men in the family are working abroad or in the city, or in the office... so the house work and farming is done mostly by the women.
I loved every second of this! It was great that you got to stop and interact with so many locals along the way. It made for a very interesting video. Loved that you got in there and helped them plant rice, too!
There are #haters of #Nepal > and trying to deter folks from visiting such a lovely countryside and people. What a great trek route - great for photography. Loved the feet in the mud.
Oh I love this. We are a family of 5 (from Australia) living in India.....we’re going to Kathmandu in April and will definitely look up this tour.....it looks incredible
Enjoying this, I'd love bring in Nepal this way, wish i have been already, I'm so unfit now but when im back to normal im going to do a trekking trip hopefully when the rice paddies or terraces are at their scenic and thetes rhododenrens etc in flower
I wish all the women at nail salons in America can watch this video and see how hard those women work with their hands. And even carrying heavy loads on their backs.
Maybe when all the illegals are chased out of the country American women would be happy to work the fields and uproot sweet potatoes to feed the masses. Yeah I'm a dreamer! lol
Nepalese people are kind to each other and respectful to others because they need each other and it’s exactly for this reason, farming.you can’t farm yourself, u need help from others hence they are friendly, kind and respectful to others.they are communal who live in society depending on eachothers.i think 90% of population is still farmers.they do subsistence farming meaning grow rice just to eat.in the West we don’t get along even with neighbors bcoz we don’t need each other for farming or survival.hence people are quite nasty to each other because they don’t need others to survive in the west.
You miss the point of the comment, Carson. In the video it's the women who are doing the hard work with their hands. Women in America who get their nails tended to can learn from them. There are no men working hard in the fields in this video so why waste time showing men a video of only women working hard with their hands? This video will teach American women something about working hard and not having machines doing their laundry and other chores.
I like how you planted some rice with theses wonderful hardworking women who never complain but have beautiful smiles and continue their hard work. I would never be able to do such difficult work because of my knees and low back pain. I applaud these women and you also for willing to participate with them as you made them very happy this day. May God keep giving you health and may you stay well protected you’re a very special lady. God bless you always. 🙏❤️🧡💙💛💜💚💖💕💝

Wow welcome to NEPAL..... loved your Vlogs.. im your subscriber please upload more videos... takecare
😘😘 enjoyed you planting the rice......and your face crossing the bridge , Men are the clever ones relaxing in the bars...lol
It's a nice change from all those male dominated countries where all you see are hoards of men and the women are hidden away.
No bar in village.its typical for women to that kind work in Nepal like planting seed, carrying grass for cattle.
+David Gurung Maybe not bars, but I've certainly seen them lounging in the shaded areas amongst themselves while the women work in the hot sun. 😜
+Englishman in Malta . LOVED planting the rice, although it took me a while to take to the idea. lol . The bridge would give anyone the willies.
You've got a polnt +Curious Nomad. Quite the opposite over the borders

You could be an excellent host for Globetrekker or a guide for Lonely Planet. You'd bring them some fresh ideas too.
Awww, I used to love Globetrekker and wanted to be a host for them a long time ago- Ian Wright was the bestest host =D

Not just women at nail salons, all the women and men should watch this video and stop complaining about WiFi😁👍
