Hello Schweibi81, I wish you doing well. It's so good of you to share the breeding experience. We are also Fan Shrimp lovers in China and we want to translate this video into Chinese and upload it in a Chinese video platform, since there's so little information about Fan Shrimp. Of course we will credit your name. Looking forward to your reply and wish you a good day!
Great job! How many did you get to survive from this batch? I'm just curious, was it trial and error to decide on the salinity? Did you try raising any in full saltwater?
Hi friends. I hope everything goes well. I am writing to you from Venezuela. I have 7 shrimp, I do not know if they are water scabra or gabonensis, but I am applying this same procedure and lasarvas are already seen in the aquarium. But I have a doubt, does the female release the larvae or release the eggs and then they hatch? You have Instagram or an email to communicate with you. I would love to share information. Greetings.
Fascinating, and well photographed.. lovely detail. I hope you can describe what you used to feed the larvae ? How often did you feed them and how often did you do water changes in their growing out tank ? I have some berried shrimp, one of the Atyopsis species, and am hopeful I may have some success raising them, should the eggs actually hatch.
Hey Kare, we used live phytoplankton from the brand DT´s. Later, when the larvae grows up, we used food with larger size, like Nobi Fluid from JBL......We did NO water change! We filtered the tank with a gravel filter......We´re wishing you success with your breeding!

Any breeding methodology to share?
Do you increase salinity and GH in the parents tank? The larvae apparently need high salinity and a dKH of 20 apparently.
I enjoyed so much in your story of success , in tank captivity breed MUST became near future to save this sort from exhaust.
Songs?
thats amazin work you done there,do u have some more details how to breed them i would love to give it a try whit my monstershrimp :)

En Venezuela lo que consigues siempre es gabonensis porque es nativo de Delta Macuro.

Best growth method is water changes every couple of says and I think you would of seen more dramatic change weekly
