That is a fantastic looking fly and pattern. I've tied several to water flies using those same foam heads, and have used those same hooks. I've never even dreamed of combining the 2 together. I second the idea of the previous gentleman about it would make a killer diving mouse pattern. I'll have to go give it a try. I have an articulated mouse i do that drives the bass crazy, tone to kick it up a few knotches.
Great fly thanks for sharing, every time up put up a new fly. I always save it to my favorites play list. I would really like to win this fly. Really looking forward to the next video. Thanks again.
I tried doing the same with a 60 degree hook this spring here in Minnesota. The action was ok, but really erratic. I like the idea of the 26 degree. Will surely give it a try!
Very clever tie sir! I've never caught a pike on a fly. However I've caught my biggest on a feather winged Muddler head jig drifting over a point at a drop off in my favorite lake. I would love to catch one with a fly rod, and I have many fly rods, with one of your awesome creations. Thanks for the inspiration!
Nice. 👍🏻 I allways love new ways to tie flies. Never thought of using this hook like that. Now it's time to make the whole thing a little smaller and tie it as a diving mouse. ✌🏼 P.s.: I would love to see your version of a Frog-Popper.
I was actually thinking of different tie point for current patterns and new flies at work today and up pops this video. I’m really digging the action and drawing power of this fly. I like the idea of putting a dragon 🐉 tail on the back. I also think of you could get a willow or Indiana style spinner past the craft fur tail, say with a tube or mono straight that could add some secondary action and a little additional thumb and flash. That might be fun to experiment with.
I've been watching you guys tie for a while on flight TV and also on this channel I just started tying about 5 months ago I have several flies that I tie you would like to trade you one of my flies for one of yours I don't have many videos up online but I'm going to shoot a video this weekend like what you see you drop me a comment and if you like to fly would send it to you or the heads that I make and you can make tie your own off of that it's all tight on the weedless swimbait hook
No pike will be able to resist that fly. Incredible action and I'm amazed by your innovation.
Love how you show it working in the water Niklaus - thanks

Hi from Pa. USA I like the idea, I have tied many of your flies, I'm going to tie them with a black and green heads too.

Great as always.
Hope it works as good as your Kicker. The last weeks I got so nice attacks on them in västervik.
Superbe streamer ❤
Nice👌
Nice fly. When I win it, can you throw the vice in as well?😂
hello Niklaus, always the same comment from me because it is always super nice ; maybe this time I will win one 🤣
Can you use a " regular " popper head???
❤ nice 😊😮🎉🎉🎉
I did something like this but with deer hair and it gets similar movement. I wanted it to sink but the hair was to hollow it floats like a cork
j'adore toutes les vidéos ce serait sympa si je gagnais cette mouche un petit coucou de la France
Love this streamer! Enter me for a win! I'd love to have one to use as a sample! Look out big bass as well!
Add some mono though the head add some hands with flash fiber inch or so on both sides
Ha, so similar to the DK dancer
