Hi all! I'm seeing questions about recipe measurements. Here they are: 1 cup roughly chopped cilantro leaves 1 jalapeño seeds removed and roughly chopped 1 clove of garlic roughly chopped 1/4 cup mayonnaise 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (about the juice of 2 limes) 3/4 teaspoon Kosher salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 cup avocado or canola oil And, I'll start including text with measurements for future videos. Hopefully, that will be helpful for yall! ❤️
Oh my goodness I just made this and it is out of this world! I guessed on the mayonnaise and oil 1 cup Mayo 1/3 cup oil and it was perfect! And don’t you listen to those negative comments about your smile I think it’s beautiful and shows the love of God in you! ❤️
Kim, that is incredibly kind and I am so grateful for your sweet words. They mean a great deal. Thank you so much ❤️ And I'm so glad the dressing was wonderful for you 😘
This is my FAVORITE dressing. I could drink it! I dip Cucumbers 🥒 in it by cutting Cucumbers the long way and I dip it into the Cilantro Lime Dressing. My favorite! Thx for sharing!! And, it's so healthy!
I saw a cilantro salad dressing a Trader Joe’s and clicked on UA-cam to see if I could make one. This video came up and it was so refreshing to watch. Your kindness and smile lit up the screen. I don’t get that very often here in LA. I cant wait to try the dressing and watch more of your videos. Thank you!
Mark, that is the sweetest comment and it absolutely made my morning. Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to write something so kind. I'm very grateful!!!! I hope you love the dressing ☺️
Just made this recipe & Oh My, it is delicious. I used 1/2 mayo & 1/2 sour cream. Otherwise I followed the recipe to a T. It's a keeper. Note: I had to use 6 limes to get the right amount of juice.....limes were small.
Just made it,, magnificent! I added less mayo, half avocado, yoghurt as well as unflavored cream cheese. Added pink salt n some pepper at the end.. What a dressing! Great for ketogenic diet.
I love making this dressing but I do it in a healthier way I use OrganicGreek yogurt and I use extra virgin olive oil because that's not inflammatory to the body it's delicious
Thank you for this recipe! Just a note: extra virgin olive oil bitterness comes when being emulsified at high temp's - generally. high temp occurs when you blend it with room temperature ingredients at high speed.
Thank you for posting. Just made it and love it! I used 1/2 of an avocado (instead of mayo), canola oil and Himalayan natural pink salt these are the ingredients I typically have at home.
I had some cilantro that I needed use or it would go to waste... and didn’t have time to go shopping so I swapped the limes for vinegar, I also didn’t have Mayo and it turned out still super tasty. Since I didn’t put Mayo it had slight bitter after taste so I put some honey in the mix and that fixed the after taste Thanks for the recipe !
I just ran into your channel and let me tell you that you need a cooking show you have a beautiful personality and your recipes look so good beautiful kitchen you have.
if you are not using extra virgin olive oil or buy cheap evoo it can be bitter but first press evoo is healthier than olive oil.. the thing that gives its flavor are terpenes and they have health benefits
No, unfortunately, it will not taste the same if you omit a hot pepper like a jalapeno or serrano and replace it with a sweet pepper, like a bell pepper! However, you might be on to something delicious! I would recommend subbing in a roasted red bell pepper instead of raw bell pepper. You can typically find them in a jar in the international food aisle. Also, if you take care to seed the jalapeno well, they are typically not too spicy for most! Hope this helps and happy cooking 😊
Just btw, high quality olive oil should be bitter due to the larger amount of antioxidants. Low quality olive oil will taste less bitter. Great recipe though, thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Kassem! I'm curious -- what olive oil do you use? I'm finding bitter notes even still in $20 bottles 😭I'd love a recommendation if you have one! 💗
This might sound weird but Always Save light olive oil is very nearly tasteless and doesn't burn anywhere Near as easily as evoo. Costs a lot less too.

Avocado oil is not inflammatory to the body
@@marykesh but avacado oil is much much worse for the environment.
Lol extra virgin… please … so much healthier lol
Once you use Greek yogurt it automatically turns into chutney (middle eastern cilantro yogurt based)
Once you substitute it for yoghurt it’s the same recipe for coriander chutney used in Indian cousins with cumin powder
Thank you for this recipe!
