Thank you for your excellent and easy to understand videos. Greetings from Germany
Thank you so much! ❤️
Thank you, Fabio. Your tutorials are unique, inspiring, and presented so wonderfully. I've been crocheting for almost 30 years, and under your tuteledge I'm learning new ways of doing things that are improvements over the way I have done them in the past. Most of all, I want to tell you how much I love and appreciate your friendly tone, your patient way of instructing, and the thorough way you explain what you do with your words. I am losing my vision, and am almost blind in one eye. Your videos are helping to keep my spirits up because I'm able to listen to what you are doing when watching is hard for me. I cannot thank you enough. 🙏🧶♥✨🤗
Fabio, after watching you describe your technique, I realise you truly are a crochet engineer. Fantastic tutorial. Thanks 👏
Truth. He is a crochet engineer 💯
Hey Fabio, you put your heart into everything you do. Don’t burn out, we can wait patiently for the next video. Love the way you do the sleeves. My sweater is starting to look like a sweater. ❤
Yay!!! This makes me very happy! ❤️
Great tips and explanation of creating a sweater based on individual's body and arm length. Truly is one of a kind, such as yourself.
That's super kind of you! Thank you! ❤️
Fabio, these #crochettutorials are so perfectly explained... Thank you for taking the time with the very detailed instructions...👏🏻😉👏🏻😉👏🏻😉
This is a great explanation that makes very practical sense. Thank you. I hate having to count stitches and go step by step without the big picture. I much rather work from the birds eye view. This is perfect for my brain.
😄Counting in Italian. That was great. Thanks Fabio once more for the wonderful explanation.
The way you explain is ver good, thank you so much!
Good day, Bello. 😘
Hearing you count and revert to Italian and back to English was so cool. 😍
Thank you for continuing with this amazing tutorial. It was so interesting, to me, that the sleeve began as a chain.
Fabio, I thank you so much for taking the time to share your knowledge. You are a wonderful teacher. 💖
You give an excellent explanation and are a great teacher. Thank you Fabio.
Thank you! You have shown a better way of measuring for the sleeve placement. I have seen so many tutorials that make it complicated.
Have a wonderful day.
Le tue spiegazioni, anche se l'inglese non lo so molto bene, sono anche per me comprensibili perché non essendo la tua madrelingua parli più lentamente e chiaramente, che è la cosa migliore 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Keep it up!!!
P.S. Vivo in Germania da quasi 30 anni e quando devo contare lo faccio sempre in italiano 😅
I’m so happy to have found you through Marti ‘s interview from Flawsome crochet . Your crochet is seriously outstanding . You are explaining the process of making a sweater in an easy to understand way . I’m a visual learner and I Love it ! ❤❤❤
😮😊see you monday,,no time planting the garden tomorrow. Can't wait to get going with this 😊
Thank you, Fabio!
I love the construction of this sweater and the outcome.
You have talent. God Bless 👍
I really love your series and I am watching but not making my husband’s sweater just yet. Too many wips at the moment, but you give great details for sizing. Thank you.
What wonderful tutorials! Can't wait to finish off! You're a gem and a treasure 🧡
Such precise details and very informative! As soon as I get the right yarn, I’m getting started! Can’t wait. Thanks so much for this, Fabio 😊
I love watching your videos. They are fascinating!
Hi Fabio, I love watching your tutorials and you have inspired me. I have actually used some of your techniques into my WIP's. I would like to make a sweater for brother just need to get the right yarn. Thank you so much for what you are doing. 🍁
Thank you for this tutorial! I love your patterns and I can’t wait for the next update!!
Wonderful techniques. I love listening to you. Great teaching!🎉
Fantastic job Fabio! Your explanations are so clear and so easy to follow! Thank you very much to decide to share your genius with us 🙏🏻🥰

Your crochet work are so beatiful. Well done Fabio.❤
Wonderful tutorial! Thank you!
The Pain of working into the Chain.
... the pain is real!!! LOL
I LOVE this! But I was laughing @2:26 when you put that 'Yoke' on. It so quickly reminded me of a Carnival Tent where you would 'sneek a peek at the naked boys and girls' when we were kids. Well, I did. lol. Have a beautifully HOOKED weekend Fabio!
Richard
Fabio! Fabio! I have no idea how you came up with the 'designing process' of this soon to be gorgeous sweater! I have tried many times to make my own pattern for my own sweater.......and after crocheting for over 50 years; I just could not figure the process I wanted to take and use. You are doing just a fabulous job on this!!! Bellisimo. (Is that the right word? lol).
Richard
Ciao Fabio, I am an avid follower of yours, starting with the first video you posted, and I absolutely love your no-nonsense, plunge right in approach to crocheting a sweater.
Your thought process is very methodical and engineered, and all I can say is: keep up the good work, I’m looking forward to more sweaters and beyond!
I am currently waiting for the yarn I ordered for my own sweater, and I’ll follow your instructions from the start.
Meanwhile, I just watch your videos for the sheer joy of it, and for a better understanding of eventual stumbling blocks (for me) along the way.
And here is a little request from me:
I have a special liking for sleeves that have a positive ease up to the elbow, but from that point, I’d want them snug, with some negative ease, then the ribbing as per usual.
Would it be possible to have an option for more fitted sleeves from the elbow down?
Many thanks for considering this request, and mille grazie for any suggestions as to how to go about it.
Thank you very much for your kind words. To answer your question, yes, we will do tapered sleeves in a future sweater project. Just not this one because we begin with the basic. If I were to cover every single nitty-gritty aspect of sweater making, I would be losing everybody's attention. Let's get the simple sweater done first and then we will raise the bar.
Really fun and informative videos!!❤❤❤
Hi Fabio.. I hope you are well? Haven't seen an update for a while so I think your fans are getting a little worried about you. Hope all is well!!
Awesome! What a great method! Thanks for all your help and for your time ❤
I can't wait for part 2! Thanks so much Fabio :)
Great instructions and makes sense. Being an avid machine knitter (sweater maker) I will add decreases as I prefer my sleeves a bit tapered. 😁
Very good video, thank you
17 rows into the 1st sleeve and 😅😅😮😮🤪I've got to rip it out. My chain was 23. But some how huge bell sleeves. This sweater is for me . I thought I measured correctly 😮I'm going to try again
I know the frustration of frogging very very much, so I totally feel your pain, but before frogging, use your mirror to identify what needs to be adjusted. I will make a video soon, explaining exactly that. That's the beauty of following a system rather than a pattern, because once you understand the system, you can customize it at will.
@@CrochetByFabio I had the chain under arm too big. I only need a chain of 2 , I had 23! Much better now!! Thank you
Thankyouuuuuuuuuu
Hello und Guten Tag from Germany.
Thank you very much for your easy to understand tutorial for a men ♂sweater❗
Fabio, can you answer me a question, please: Is it possible to crochet a women♀sweater with your constructing technique❓
Thank you very much for you answer.
Hallo und Guten Tag auch aus NYC! That's the extent of my Deutsch! About your question, unfortunately, Ich habe keine Ahnung, because I have never made a sweater for women. Very sorry. 😞
Thanks!
Thank you so much! ❤
@@CrochetByFabio It's not much, but I wanted to do what I could to brighten your day and show some love/appreciation.
Fantastico Fabio! 🩵🩵🩵
Grazie carissima! ❤️
My love I miss you. Be welll
I really wish you would do a cardigan
Same method, don’t join. The starting point would be in the front, open. I’m sure Fabio is thinking up with a beautiful cardigan. Waiting patiently for a cardigan video.
I am enjoying all of your videos so I have a question; when crocheting the sleeve I see you turning the work, can the sleeve be crocheted in the round without turning?
Great question! What you're describing is the spiral construction which creates a slightly different-looking fabric compared to the back-and-forth construction.
Hi Fabio. Love your tutorials! I have some questions. Is it possible to email you?
Thank you for your kind words. Feel free to use the email available in the about this channel section.
Hi Fabio. I can’t seem to find your email address in the about this channel. I am an old lady so maybe I am looking in the wrong place. Please help me😮😅
When you do sleeves, do you always make them so full? Is it for comfort movement on this particular sweater?
Usually, yes, because the shape is reminiscent of 17th century style of sleeves (think of Marie Antoinette and the French Court of Versailles) but I have also made more modern style, tapered sleeves. I will cover them in a future sweater project. For now, let's keep things simple.

Fabio? I hope you are doing well
Fabio, You look tired! Is there a long week behind you? Rest assured, this next week is guaranteed to be only 7 days❤😊
Yes, I was tired! I can't believe it I was showing it so clearly! It took me 12 hours to record this video and the whole process was so frustrating for so many reasons I won't bore you with. By the end of the video I was so exhausted! I love the fact you picked up on it though... you make me feel like I have a fan who cares about me and worries about my wellbeing! Thank you! ❤️
@CrochetByFabio Fabio, of course we care about you. You give us your time and knowledge and share your talents. Such a gift you give us!
@CrochetByFabio Above all, Fabio, 12 hours doing any thing is tremendous.. keep yourself healthy! We are here to learn, not to wear you out. I taught as a Dietitian & Nutrition Instructor at our W.I.U.. back in cave days and early computers. I am astounded at the videos & your presentations. ..and when I remember Covid Era lock-ups, your work is even more awesome! As an 8 y.old,I was taught by my grandma and I am still learning! I hope you have some kind of private life, so you can take breaks and refresh your spirit. We aren't going anywhere, except to re-watch the videos over and over... and over, as needed...lol. There is no hurry and I bet we will all still be around for next video. Don't expect so much of yourself!!! Take time for loved ones, too. Thank you for caring for us, as well. Look at the responses and you will see you do at least 300%, the world only grasps 75% at the most, on any given day.😵💫🥴😶🫣🤭😅🩵
