I got the app after watching this vid & I bought a walker that was level 5, the base stat for efficiency was 1.3 but it has had that boosted up to 21.3 with the points. Also, base stat for resilience was 7.7 & now it's 9.7. So should I have got one that wasn't already leveled up?

Earn the same, about 11.10-11.40 per day minus 2.05 to repair. I will earn what I spent and then continue to level up.

Totally agree with your outlook on the project. Yep, going straight for a level 9 shoe is a good strategy also. More expensive upfront, but you don't have to spend time & gst to level it up so can turn out in your favor

Don't start STEPN!!! GST is in a downfall and even though the market is up, GST is failing. It will cost you more than a year to break even and it will be only worse. STEPN is not doing anything about this, that company just earned 100 million dollars and a user only earns a couple of dollars a day.

Just what Brie recommended, more than 5 for each. It turnes out that once I clicked on base it goes to efficiency 77.8 and resilience 2.9😲 ups! Now I wonder what will be my earning compared to what you calculated. My repair cost will be 4.9 which I am guessing is high. I'll tell you how it goes! I invested $1200 a couple of weeks ago, for a shoe that cost 12 SOL (when SOL was around $100). The whole crypto market is tanking right now, and SOL is only ~$55, so you could get in now for around $650.
How does STEPN keep the game funded for everyone who plays? If it's just relying on new people's money then that kind of sounds like a ponzi scheme, unless they're doing other things like taking sponsors.

GST is needed for several in-game processes, like minting new shoes, leveling up your sneaker, repairing wear, etc, which drives demand. Which then drives the price up. Definitely Ponzi elements to games like this, and nobody has solved the economics for games like this is the long term, so it will definitely go the way of Axie Infinity if that doesn't get worked out.

So she is basically moonwalking more than half the time. Which ACTUALLY means, I finish out her session after I'm done mine lol.
Oh man, was having a similar problem! Got my BF a shoe and he was consistently earning more than me. Holding my phone as I walked instead of putting it in a pocket or my purse seems to have helped me though. Something about the phone needing to get a good read on your movements more so than GPS for me

Looks like the STEPN discord only gives away one singe activation code every 12 minutes. Are they still doing the 1,000 codes every morning at 9 am EST? I don't see that channel in their discord.
Looks like they've recently changed it. Got a video coming out next week on best ways to get an activation code, but seems like it's 10 codes dropped in the Discord now every 15 minutes. Not sure if that makes it easier or harder!

At about the 11:23 minute mark you click on the base stat. Why does it matter? It seems to me that the old efficiency base stat would be history and the higher current stat would be better and more valuable.
So for 50$ a day you need 4 shoes min 13 solana each and at least one at level 9 basically your first week or 10 days of walking goes into levelling up 1 shoe !
So lets say you bought a common shoe and you ran for 10 mins, would all the sol your earning go into your in-game currency wallet to spend on shoes and repairs e.t.c. However, with your earnings from that running in a common shoe for 10 mins, I don't understand how you can exchange that money into a bank account?

GST is down to about $3 right now, so I'm earning around $25-30 per day at the moment. Still quite happy with that!

So for 50$ a day you need 4 shoes min 13 solana each and at least one at level 9 basically your first week or 10 days of walking goes into levelling up 1 shoe !
So lets say you bought a common shoe and you ran for 10 mins, would all the sol your earning go into your in-game currency wallet to spend on shoes and repairs e.t.c. However, with your earnings from that running in a common shoe for 10 mins, I don't understand how you can exchange that money into a bank account?
