Totally agree with you on the subject of photo bio modulation, or red light therapy. My husband has been using it for four years now and can’t imagine his life without it. The energy he feels definitely affects the course of the day. I also use it, on a different frequency, gives me energy and beautiful skin .
Thank You! for your review of the Red Light Therapy. I had no idea that it could be that beneficial for helping with so many issues! Please, for as long as you can, keep telling us about the items/way of life thingies that could make life better for us.
My dad has Parkinson’s and I am considering buying him a panel soon. I currently use a panel for many different purposes and I think it can help him drastically. I was noticing your videos from a year ago and your movements stability seems a lot more controlled now than it was a year ago. What has changed? Do you think the red light has helped you that much? What else have you changed? I need to be able to explain it to him so he will actually use it .
Hello, You have asked a very big question that I will make into a video, or it may take 3 to do it. What has changed? Everything has changed from about a year ago. Diet, exercise, the list is long. I am taking the approach that treating my PD is a whole body experience, because PD affects my whole body. Red light therapy is an essential part of that treatment; I will never give it up. It recharges my mitochondria and provides much of my energy. This video will help explain. Thank you for asking the question. 😊😁😃 ua-cam.com/video/VDxNqSHwBQ8/v-deo.html
Hi Shiffon, I could tell the gloves worked pretty quickly because they put me in an ON state. I think you will be able to tell if they help you fairly quickly. Watch out for overstimulation symptoms they can be quite bothersome. 😃😊😀
@@LifewithParkinsons Hi David, Having the gloves on for about an hour for the first time. It is not easy. I will report back when I have more information. I hope you stay well. Thank you. Shiffon
I can't remember which one of your videos you mentioned taking amitriptyline, that is interesting because a movement disorder specialist from the Mayo Clinic in California told me this drug is a no no and should not be used in Parkinson's disease as it may be neurotoxic, worsening symptoms. I am well aware of this drug being frequently prescribed in the UK and clearly Canada too but sadly it is mostly based on cost....there are much better, safer options.....
Hi David, Thank you for providing this update with red light. Just a few qs: -Has the red light been able to maintain the lowered peaks and valleys of the carbidopa-levadopa medicine? -do you think the initial benefits from the red light tapered off over time or do you feel the same benefits you felt in the beginning? -has your parkinson's symptoms progressed, stayed the same, or even reversed since you've been using the red light therapy? Thanks in advance!
Hi Cuttru, thanks for the tough questions that I really had to think about for a while. The red light does help with the the peaks and valleys quite a bit because I notice that my dyskinesia is greatly reduced or eliminated at those times. I have noticed that my dystonia is reduced and I sleep better also. The mitochondria recharge is a big reason I use it. Fatigue is a horrible issue to deal with, and the red light helps with that. I would say that the benefit has not tapered off over time, the red light is still able to keep up with symptom progression at this point. My PD symptoms have continued to progress over time, but very slowly. I would say that next to exercise, this has been the next best, most consistent addition to my treatment plan, just because it helps with so many issues. It has not reversed the disease in any way. The only thing I feel, in my opinion, that can do that is exercise. If you have more please let me know. Happy to answer.😃😁😀
@LifewithParkinsons thank you so much for the detailed answers. Really happy to hear of your results with the red light device. Watching one of your earlier videos on it prompted me to get one for a family member with PD, and I intend to get them to try it and hoping for similiar results as you. I would also recommend you to look into and try using black seed oil as a supplement too. Many research papers on it's benefits are out there, so hopefully you may benefit from it as well.
@LifewithParkinsons Hi David, Wanted to update and share with you on some encouraging results. It's been about a week my relative has been using the red light device and I have noticed improvement in their sleep almost immediately :) Hoping to see other improvements in their symptoms over time. Did you notice the other benefits after a certain time period such as the smoothening of the peaks and valleys of Carbidopa-Levadopa by the way?
@@cuttru8041 Oh I love good news, thank you so much for telling me. I noticed new things from time to time as I used it longer. The dyskinesia cleanup has been the most welcome one of all. Increased energy took a while also. We are all a bit different so it may not be the same for your relative. I'm sure just getting a better sleep is a whole new world.😃😃😃😃
