When you start a clothing brand, one of the hardest choices to make is choosing the best blank t-shirts for your clothing brand. Choosing a t-shirt can be tricky because there are tons of different brands out there. From a Screen Printers perspective, I work with blank t-shirts on a daily bases. From helping customers choose the best blank t-shirt for their clothing brand to getting them screen printed and or embroidered for them. It's not as simple as just choosing a t-shirty and sticking to it. T-shirts are made up of different materials such as 100% cotton, and even blends like 50/50 or 60/40 which is made up of cotton and polyester. Pro tip, 100% cotton t-shirts are more likely to shrink in the wash rather than blends like 60/40 cotton polyester t-shirts.

The last one is the best looking quality to me. I totally agree with you about the shoulder part of the tees fitting funny ... i hate that. One tip, iron that shoulder section on full steam a few times. It helps to flatten it so it rests on the shoulders better; not all Tees, but it's always worth a try. Missing LA Apparel 1801 I would choose over that Rue Porter. But they are all good I use them alot as well.

I like next level as well but I just think the ink lays down a lot smoother on a Bella. Also, you need to try Bella canvas suede shirt. I think next level has a suede version as well. Suede shirts are amazing.
That’s a fair point. I don’t have too many issues with ink laying flat on the next level. The suede shirts I do have to agree are a great feeling shirt 👌🏽 only thing is they cost a bit more but quality comes with a price. Appreciate your two cents!

What is your feedback between the Next level 6410 Mens vs the N6210 Unisex? the 6410 feels softer but isn't unisex wonder your advice

which shirt has a more fitted feel? and which holds up to washing better? any advice?
I plan to DTF on them.
Out of the two main CVC blend shirts by 1: Next Level and 2: Bella Canvas my personal preference for fit and feel is the Next Level shirt. In the video I mention I prefer the next level shirt cause it fits better and my reason for that is because of the shoulder seam. If you reference back to the video you’ll see exactly why I prefer the next level tee
@@baavproductionsNext Level is always cheaper than BC too. Gildan soft style tees are the same for a lower price point. Just remember, Next Level/Bella are dispensary/brewery staples and your brand might be compared to that

What a well-put together video! Right in time aswell! Needed this. Also can't help myself but say thats a fire cut(I heard you cut your own hair)! I recognize one when i see it because i cut my own hair aswell and i also have a taper. I do have one question tho. How do I stop my ink from cracking? I tried making the off contact a big bigger and that helped a bit, but do i need to use more ink or something? Thanks. Happy Easter!
Also I have a problem with my halftones. Whenever i wash the screens, emulsion that isnt supposed to wash off does actually do just that. Should I expose the screens longer? Do you think i need a better emulsion? I use like a 156 mesh screen, maybe i need a finer one.
I appreciate the positive feedback! And yes I do cut my own hair🤘🏽 and that’s sweet! Keep on cutting! Your ink is most likely cracking because you haven’t cured it fully. If your using plastisol ink make sure to cure it at about 330 degrees for at least 15 seconds to insure it’s cured and do the stretch test that I do in most of my videos.
Halftones can be tricky on a 156 mesh. I tend to use a finer mesh count such as a 230 mesh and up for halftones. Also if your emulsion is washing off I would increase your time slightly until you notice it’s washing out better. Also it could be that your using too much water pressure or getting too close to the screen which can cause your emulsion to blow out
