I think a plastic back is great... It won't break easily, besides, most people slap on a cover. So I think a plastic back makes sense.
I been using my note 20 for the last couple years I recently bought the iphone13 just to see if I want to switch to iPhone but I like my note 20 much better
Am i the only one that thinks a plastic back is an upgrade from glass ? Glass on the back of any phone is fashion nonsense? What is the point of glass on the back of a phone , other than fashion? We can't really get around glass on the front , but glass on the back is just nonsense to me . Because as we all know it's glass and glass breaks ! The sooner this fashion gets dropped the better ! As coincidence would happen i almost bought one today from a used shop . The price was £340 in wonderful condition here in Scotland , have i missed out ? That's why I'm on this channel to see if i should return to the shop ?

The fact that the plastic back is coated to a point where it feels almost identical to a coated glass back is one aspect that saves the physical feel of the same and makes the plastic back even an advantage compared to glass backed phones, since you get nearly the same feel as a coated glass back but scratches are less visible, its more durable and it doesnt make your hands sweat anywhere near as much when gaming or generally holding the phone when it warm/hot. That last one is a particularly good advantage of the plastic back

I'm typing this on a note 10. I'd say the Note 20 would still worth it if my Note 10 is still working nicely... only complaint is the ghost touches when the phone gets cold/wet. But that didn't start til after 3 years of ownership and many drops.
Probably would buy it over the s23 just based on it being like half the price.
💯 I'm typing on my note 8 😮 but its still doing a great job. I have just ordered a note 20 because my current handset occaisionally freezes for anything between 30 minutes to 2 hours! Love the notes and I don't care the note 20 is not the latest phone but now after seeing this review I m not sure now regarding the software updates..maybe I should go for the note ultra 🤷🏿♀️
My Note 10 plus loved me as much as I loved it. I ran it over with my car and the bottom half is shattered but it still works with he S Pen. I can't bring myself to throw it away 😂. I ordered the Note 20 refurbished today. Fingers crossed

I bought this off Amazon specifically for the use with N Real AR glasses and the phone is absolutely fantastic. It's nice to see your review confirm what I’ve been enjoying for the past couple of months. This is definitely the best phone I've ever owned so far with new features that took me by surprise. The only thing that sucks is the lack of a SD card slot.
Glad you mentioned not having a Micro SD Card slot. I had started thinking about getting one for my upcoming birthday next month to see I like the older Samsung more than the new which I found last year to be a disappointment.
@@donotneed2250 the ultra version of the Note 20 does have a SD card slot with some extra ram. I am typing this on the ultra version. If its in your budget it's definitely worth getting.

I am a native Android developer and I use that phone it came out as a personal phone to test my project...its a great phone even compared to some new Androids when it comes to battery life
A legendary phone in the truest sense of the word. Its strengths are that the screen is very clear and not thick. Also, the camera is from a Sony sensor. There is a professional photography mode, but the manual mode has been removed. The lens has become automatic, unlike the Note 5. I hope my idea is communicated because I am very weak in English 🙂

I absolutely love that android one ui 3 and up have the apple control bar. It allows switchers to be more comfortable when switching to android and from android.
I bought my Note 20 5G from eBay. A couple of scratches on the corners and the screen has a thin crack going left to right. I cannot see the crack when watching videos. The phone was $75 shipped. I added a clear case with kickstand and a glass front screen and rear camera protector. I've had for 3 months and the phone is doing great. I cannot believe I have a $1000 phone 3-4 years after release. 😊
Honestly the problem with this phone is it's still so good my contract is due for upgrade but I can't find a convincing reason to upgrade. Either I'm going to a phone without stylus or I HAVE to get the s23 ultra or pay crazy amounts for the flip. Plastic back is seriously a non-issue, it's lighter and you always cover your phone anyways
How are updates with this phone?
Honestly, the fact that they don’t keep updating android is why I stay with Apple as my primary phone. It’s ridiculous. 3 years and it might not get the next version of android??? That’s crazy. I keep an old Note just as a secondary device but until they can keep android up to date for at least 5 years I can’t come back to this mess.

Hopefully you have an unlocked version, cuz xda developers will support it much longer than Samsung will.
I have a Pixel 7 Pro and am on my 3rd screen replacement. Just put in for a warranty exchange and bought one of these as a replacement until my new phone gets back. But at this point I hate my Pixel so much I might just stick with my Note 20 till my P7P is paid off.
Did the screen suddenly stop turning on but the phone is otherwise on? Asking for a friend with pixel 5a

This one doesn't have an sd card slot like the Note20 Ultra, which is why I am trading this phone in for an S24 Ultra. I ran out of internal storage after 3 years and even though I migrated stuff to the cloud, I imagine 512GB should last quite a bit longer.
Please why do I keep seeing 256gb versions of the note 20

I have a note 9 and cracked the screen so I filed my claim for a replacement and I'm waiting on this one which is the next upgrade to my note 9 😂 so i didn't have to pay for that and before the note 9 i had the 8,4 and 2 and each phone was a free upgrade to the other because i had them so long by the time i needed to file a claim the phone was discontinued 😂😂 i just prefer external sd storage for all my phones

Good choice since its the last note. The s22 ultra is just too expensive and humongous. I really regret that I didnt buy this last yr at $630, snapdragon variant with 256gb. 😭

This phone isn't supported with android version it's on its currently on its security patch, it's not getting android 14 because it's not apart of the new 4 android update and 5 year security updating policy. However in terms of heavy intensive tasks we will have to wait and see in few weeks but as of now in the android department it has the best chipset the 888 and 8G1 has alot of heating and throttling issues especially the 8G1 8+ G1 was a significant improvement and more efficient but it's not as good as a SD 865 or 865+ in fact these can do Pubg at 90fps on the 2ⁿᵈ lowest graphic setting, it could do cod mobile and ultra fps and I believe it could do genshin at 120fps while the 888 and 8G1 can do it's limited to max grahic at 60fps in these games.

@szewei1985 hopefully the 8 gen 2 or snapdragon 985 will beat it out by playing pubg at 120fps and cod and ultra fps max graphics as well as fortnite at 120fps or warzone mobile at 90fps and genshin at 120fps we need a new king sd 865 has had its time and we want modern thing to be king in every area

I'm using my Samsung Note Fe for almost 5yrs now and still great for most past except for the battery which is at 69% now. But the camera is still good and the display. I dont have updates now but really why need those when it only slows down your old phone.

The note 20 is a bad phone for its price it's not a bad phone but like it's an upper mid range phone with a flagship processor and even when u look at something like a pixel 6a that thing is more premium and it's $299 so this should've been in the $599 price tag because it also has top notch camera and an spen.
