I wasn't even worried about him not putting in the bananas. I was really waiting for him to come out with the green onions. Great video though, keep it up!
I can't think of another cooking show that wouldn't do this whole thing over from the beginning.... It's exactly why I enjoy y'all so much. Keep it up.
"real" if he promotes random firms products because he gets paid to use them and say their names. He is already making more than 200k a year just with youtube
@@martinklein1139 it's part of his job. Also it's called advertising. Many many UA-camrs do this. I would if it meant money & stuff, most people would. 👋
Hehe. Well he measured everything with his hands so I think his point still stands... it's cooking, not baking. If you forget entire ingredients you will f*** up cooking and baking! :)
I almost watched another Banana Bread video, but then I thought “maybe Sam has one” and of course you do! You’re the reason I enjoy cooking! Thanks for the great (AND FREE) content!
This might be my favorite episode yet, Kudos to Max for salvaging it with his Production and Editing skills. Also, thank you for not cutting the bread on his spoiler, that had me cringing a little!
Just recently started binging all of Sam's videos and this is probably my favorite not because of the goofy mess ups but because Max's editing and talking to us every time we thought banana's would be next, culminating in Sam finally realizing, felt like a moment we all shared together as father, son and viewers xD I am so glad I found this channel
I never miss an episode. I find it especially entertaining whenever Sam 'measures' a recipe's ingredients while preparing it: " . . . add 1/4 of brown sugar (he adds more like a 1 cup); then you add 1/2 cup of Bourbon (he adds more like 2 cups); then you add 1/4 of sour cream (he adds more like 1 cup); then you add 1/2 cup of Almonds (he adds more like 1.5 cups) . . . "
you've helped me so much i've made so many yummy foods the last couple weeks since ive found your channel! my bf is working in the ICU and i get to feed him when he gets home from work and it makes me feel great!!
Me: Last night, last thought, "I wonder what the easiest way to make banana bread is?" SAM THE COOKING GUY: uploads this video in less than 24 hours... Me: ...
Thanks guys for all of the wonderful recipes through out the years. My family loves watching your vídeos. Cheers from a faithful subcriber in the Yucatán Península. Stay safe and Keep Cookin!
Aside from the video that he read a letter from a marine in Afghanistan, this is a strong 2nd favorite video. Had me spitting my morning coffee everywhere. These guys are great and it's no wonder why they have 3 million + subscribers. Keep up the good work guys and stay safe.
This is exactly why I love this channel, keeping it real showing mistakes and cursing and all. I love it. Keep it up sam. Y’all could easily started over or/or edited. Thanks for keeping it real it’s so entertaining.
Sam, we discovered you about a week ago and we’ve pretty much been binging ever since. Holy crap you crack us up! We had grilled PB&J sandwiches for lunch today and are looking forward to trying more of your recipes. Thanks for keeping us entertained during the apocalypse!
One of my favorite breakfasts is sliced banana bread, schmeard with a layer of peanut butter. Bake until warm and then drizzle honey on top. Ahhhmazing!
I really enjoyed seeing a somewhat more personable side of you outside of the usual backyard etc. It's nice for the people that ask "what is Sam like away from the camera?" Gotta change it up sometimes with different content. I would like to see you guys do the grocery shopping for the food you will C word on the show.
Love that you are willing to share even the mishaps. Shows you are real just like all of us. I try to do this too which I cook in my videos. Its a teching moment for others who are watching.
I came straight here Sam when i see banana bread. My mom doesnt use a torch and claims her recpie is top family secrete. Im gonna whip this bad boy out on her next week. that sounded so weird refering to my mom
I really love how you show the occasional mistakes and in this video how you showed the second loaf as it finished out. I thought the backyard cooking area was you house?? Thanks Much!!

The baking soda you forgot in your first batch reacts with the sour cream to make the bread rise. It is probably more important to the outcome than the eggs.
So glad you left in the egg/flour/baking soda debacle in! Now I know what really happens (other than just “it’s not the same...”). Pure education and entertainment! Keep it up y’all!
Sam, my Fiancée and I love you and your knowledge of good food, but gotta agree with Max on the chocolate chips in Banana bread! It absolutely takes the banana bread to the next level especially semi sweet dark chocolate chips, but other than that your the Man🔥🔥🔥
This is what I like about your program it is not stuffy and a true way to portray our mistakes. I do not go to other cooking shows now with their starchy way to do things and drawn out self righteousness of doing things. Please do not change Sam and team.
Sam, my wife (who is a banana bread master) and I watched this episode to see your method. I noticed you use standard ripe bananas. My wife collects uneaten bananas all year and freezes them until used around Christmas (for gifts). The bananas when thawed are black and you can squeeze them out like toothpaste. Have you ever tried it this way?
06:53 I know what's happened it's because he got rid of that "P***Y-bush" under his lip it kinda threw him off! Yup he's in rare form today! LMAO! Watching this wonderful ingredients mixed in wondering where's the banana? The Brandy I remembered should be called "Brandy Bread" I guess. Still wonderful segment!

this is the single most relatable cooking video ive ever seen in my life.
I died. That moment when you remember...the bananas.😂😂😂
It would of been funnier if he put it in the oven then remember the banana's
Classic Sam stoner look at 06:42 :)
westie430 i laughed so hard when he said what did you forget and sam goes the bananas😭😭
I cracked the fuck up when he realized he forgot the bananas.
When he started disrespecting the banana bread, acting like it’s not real baking, I knew he was gonna fuck it up.
I love that you keep it real. You show your mistakes & oops moments. It's hysterical & I love that about your channel. 😂❤

Has to be the funniest episode so far. Amazing episode.
I think this has been the best episode I've watched simply for the laughs. Thanks for making my day. Keep up the great work guys
I like how NONE of them noticed the lack of bananas
I usually don’t partake in the pole questions but im passionate about this.

Best cooking show on UA-cam hands down. I’m definitely gonna do this bread with bourbon!
I love how they don't always edit the screw ups, great UA-cam channel c:
I'm laughing my ass off wondering when Sam's going to add the bananas... you know, being banana bread and all.
Honestly, videos like this where it's more relaxed and comedic are very nice to watch! Because we can all relate to making these silly mistakes!

The perfect slice of banana bread, no matter what recipe you use, must have a copious pasting of butter applied.

This whole episode is a warning for the tell tale symptoms of cabin fever. Man, I love this channel! Sam you’re the man....
Please make Cinamonn (Bun) Pancakes 🥞, would love to see how SAM does it. Great channel 👏
LMAO best episode ever. In our household, we are having a bet that Sam was either drunk, stoned or on edibles. Which one of us won? :)
Or just being Sam 😂
I love "out-takes" so much and this was one giant out-take. Probably the most enjoyable videos I've seen in a long time.
