As a Cubs fan I choose to forget this day, but as a baseball fan, I miss game 163. Last year Texas and Houston probably would’ve had one for the division and that would’ve been exciting to watch
One game wild cards were fun too, I miss the 2013-2019 and 2021 playoff format
As a Rangers fan I will not complain that Houston was given the division 😂
I hate that MLB got rid of game 163. I accept logistically why it works but I refuse to acknowledge as a fan that it’s overall better for the sport

Even though they finished with the same record the Astros still won the season series so I don’t think they would’ve had game 163
Man 2018 was wild. TWO tiebreakers in the NL where all four teams involved would end up going to the playoffs anyways. Gooood stuff

Can the next episode of forgotten classics be 2022 WS game 1? It was SUCH a a great game. I actually went to this game as an Astros fan. It was my first ever WS game. Devastating loss but probably the most entertaining game I have ever attended.

@@leo-V1that was also a super stressful and entertaining game, but this one went into extra innings, had more scoring and was 4 1/2 hours long

Please please do a forgotten classics of 2002 WS Game 2 (Angels over Giants 11-10). In my opinion, it was a better game than Game 6 but gets extremely overlooked.
