How much pressure (bar) are you using when working with the mosmatic? Min?-Max? i´m going to buy one and wonder what nozzle size to choose. Hope you let me participate on your experience ! Greetings from germany..love your work!
Hi! I’m using a 21 litres per minute machine, and I usually tweak the pressure down to about 2000psi on roofs. But it depends on the tile and how bad the moss is.👍🏼
Hi Ashley, ive got a question. I have a vevor surface cleaner. I want to mount this to a pole for roof cleaner. What kind of connector do i need and what pole? Thx for the advice
The main thing you need is the fitting that just fits inside the top of the pole. I get my kit from Rutland Pumps. If you give them a call I’m sure they’ll help you out.👍🏼
@@aemackintosh i have an unger nlite pole. Do you maybe have a amazon link, or an image for the fitting? Im not from the uk and they dont ship to where i live.
Hi ash, hope your well. Just after a bit of advice really, I’m really sceptical about cleaning roofs with water pressure because I don’t want to take away the protective film on the tile. Does this always happen? Or is that just like when people use a turbo and blast the tile rather than a mosmatic fsc. I’m sick of roof scraping 😂😂
Yeah, I find a turbo nozzle is way too intense. I reduce the pressure on my pressure washer and then that pressure is split across two fan jets on the fsc. This is a great way to clean the surface evenly without being too intense. You can’t use this on every roof tile, but yeah, much less tedious than scraping.😜👍🏼
@@aemackintosh Thanks for the reply, yeah I’ve been flat out in the winter months with roof scrapes, not so much bioside as people don’t want to pay for it 😂 … would love to give an actual roof clean a go, so much more satisfying
Hey Ashley, just been watching your biocide application videos, just seeing what's your preferred method now, is it still the face lift pump box or have you found something else that works well, all the best. Ben
Happy Holidays Ash, Just wondering how you get behind the chimney from the lower position with the surface cleaner without climbing on the roof? Do you run some kind of extension with a bend it? Cheers my friend.
Thanks. If you approach the chimney far enough off to the side, you can reach behind it enough to reach at least half way. Then do the other half from the other side.👍🏼
Does your extension poles ever gets stuck from debris falling in between each pole?! I have sand always get stuck in mine . Great videos ! Watching all the time from Southern California! Why don’t you treat the roofs with sodium hypochlorite application method with a 5.5gpm pump ? You wouldn’t need the pole to apply . I highly recommend watching @PowerfulIImprovement on UA-cam
Thanks. We take a slightly different approach to chemical application in the UK. I treat my roofs with biocide after cleaning which will help prevent the moss returning. This is applied with a closed spray system (brush with fan jets) to prevent chemical drift.👍🏼
Your videos are great pal.. I do the job myself sub contracting for a company and I so wish they would listen to me about how you do the job. Love the way you do your work. And thanks so much for advice you give me regarding bio cide

How much is that machine, thanks for the great work
why don't you just bleach it?
Think you will need more than bleach to shift that lot.🤔
