I'm sorry to say but turbaned saint, sadguru is a spiritual juggler. He presents undigested and partial facts in his own stylish manner and not in the correct way, I am sorry to say. I have gone through some of his you tube features. He can impress people who have not read scriptures, done sadhana or made detailed study of spiritual personalities from authentic sources...

This is not fair. Such a truly divine personality is Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. It's true that there was an happening where Sri Rama Krishna tried to give up jaggery ( as he had to implement by himself what he was going to tell anyone.). The reason for giving up jaggery was a lady requested Sri RK to tell a word to her son who is obsessed with over eating jaggery , and hence requested Sri RK to get her child out of this obsession. So, Sri RK after three days just told that little boy to give up jaggery n immediately from then he did give up surprisingly.. When Sri RK was asked why he had to take three days to just tell this one word to that little boy, Sri RK said... It took three days for me to give up. I have to give up before telling him. If Sri RK was so obsessed with food n eatables until 3 days prior to his samadhi, why was it mentioned that he couldn't even drink anything out of cancer. Swami Vivekananda felt bad n requested hus master to plead kali to get rid of this throat cancer so as to be able to drink water atleast. Sri RK reverted back saying that he did ask Kali maa as per Swami's request... He further added... Kali maa asked me .... Are all other mouths that are eating not yours ? This depicts the Advaita sthithi of Sri RK. Its sad to demean or undermine such a divine personality who is the true sadguru through this story ( not sure who cooked up this story). And there's no chance that Sarada maa wouldn't have felt ashamed of her husband. She is so graceful that she feeder a devotee ( on ekadasi fast) who just can't stay without food also assuring him that she shall transfer her punya to him n he can eat prasad that day., Without the necessity of fasting. Also, such a divine personality while addressing a congregation or his followers, if he is so much obsessed about food in the midst of his talks, can HE make such a strong impact on a bit obsessed with jaggery just with a word of mouth ? Please think twice before blindly succumbing to anyone

He never had his food sitting on a swing . moreover he suffered from cancer in throat for a long time and couldnt eat anything. Question of thali 3 days before his death doesnt arise.

Once Swami Vivekananda said that "one touch of Ramakrishna can create thousands of Vivekananda." Is not it enough to imagine the immensity of him? And same with Him also. We just have to become the pure receiver. 💫💫
What Vivekananda meant by "one touch" is the capability of Ramkrishna Paramhansa to impart Brahmgyan (i.e. the one nd only eternal science for Self Realization nd Practical experience of God within in the form of Divine Light between the eyebrows)... nd this Brahmgyan can only be imparted by a Perfect Master (Sampurn Guru)... Vivekananda has clearly explained that "this can only be initiated by an enlightened master who himself have seen God nd can make u see that right at the time of Deeksha with just one touch" nd then daily practice of Dhyan Sadhna on that Divine Light awakens the Divinity in the human being... That is how Narendra became Vivekananda nd that is why he said that Ramkrishna can make many more Vivekanandas with one touch... Now the question is that "Are all Gurus whom we see as knowledgeable nd enlightened, perfect master? "... Have they seen God?... Can they make us see God in a second?... Definitely not!!... Little cooked up story 😉..the magnitude of greatness of Sri Ramakrishna is immeasurable. He wouldn't go and keep asking what's cooking.😁😁..the fact that he had to deliberately keep to desire to stay in body for the welfare of devotees and the world as a whole. This fact has been exaggerated with a over colour.
I have read a similar story but the reason for his passing was throat cancer and he passed away after 8 days. Neglecting some of these crucial details could cause unnecessary confusion.

Vivekananda is considered as one among Saptha rishis, sometimes even as Shiva, Ramakrishna as Lord Vishnu. Vivekananda went to Nirpikalpa samadhi bcoz of Ramakrishna's help, however he is a born yogi(Ramakrishna says to other disciples, if vivekananda knows, who he is really, he leave his body, so he prevented vivekananda to be in Nirpikalpa samadhi, untill his work is done). He said, he is going to reborn, because Ramakrishna wants him too, wants him , when he reborn. And, Vivekananda once said, he wants to work, untill every living being in the world gets salvation. Out of his own desire to help the world, he wants to take birth. I suggest you to go through, Biography of Vivekananda and Complete works of Swami Vivekananda books, for clear understanding.🙏🙏🙏
I have heard this lecture twice now, it's amazing what you pick up if you listen well. I hit on a very important epiphany the second time around. From 4:45 onwards he says- ...if you realize I'm not this - NOT INTELLECTUALLY BUT IN EXPERIENCE- if there is a clear separation, then it is natural to keep this aside and walk away. Isn't it?.... See the key phrase here is this realization has to be felt not theorized. I often asked myself- what is keeping me small? Why do I keep reverting back to feeling unfulfilled and unhappy in spite of believing in a higher being, a soul and the primacy of the soul over the body and mind? The answer is that while there is Faith, there is no clear separation for me. I have to imagine these ideas and teach myself to keep the faith. I falter. I truly admire those who have absolute Faith without the experience.
I would humbly advise you to stop believing in the idea of soul . The first step towards enlightenment is to let go of every single preconceived notion in the mind and simply experience humanity. If you stop paying attention to your thoughts and emotions and simply experience humanity for what it is , you have started the process of realisation.

Ramakrishna was a beautiful life. He also was suffering from a throat cancer, therefore It was not a smooth process as the Storytelling here. I understand the meaning of the teaching that “ the enlightened person stay in the world while he/she is interested in staying, like the desire for food.”

I thoroughly enjoyed this talk on Ramakrishna's desire for food. The reason he didn't eat the food before he died was because Ramakrishna was diagnosed with throat cancer, and stopped eating altogether before his mahasamadhi. It's like he knew in advance when or how he would cease operating in his own body.

Everyone is a mixture of God and Human. I was a man with an archetype of Vishnu, not a God on Earth. I was very human. I secretly wanted to be wealthy.
What a tremendous way to describe that moment. Tears filled my eyes when Sadguru talked about that moment in Ramkrishna Paramhansas life. Such a deep meaning to realisation. In our Marathi culture there is mention of three ways to attain realisation the three margas karmamarga, yogamarga and bhaktimarga.
I have read in the Gospel of Ramakrishna by M that Ramakrishna died of throat cancer, and that for the last few months his throat was so bad that he could not eat. On one occasion he prayed to the Divine Mother to please make it possible for him to eat a little, and she replied, "What! Are you not eating through all these mouths?"

Here Sadguru is using the story to illustrate his point that the enlightened leave their bodies on attainment of enlightenment unless they need to stay, in which case they figure out a way to stay attached. 2.The event Sri sadguru refers to pertains to an old lady who had spent her life in tapasya to have a vision of Balagopala. For a shortwhile he would keep asking her to prepare some simple dish , while she wondered what sort of a sadhu he was. Soon she had the vision of Balagopala for 6 continuous months , got knowledge of her past life and she understood why he was asking for cooked food from her. 3. The paramahamsa was suffering from throat cancer for one year and had difficulty in swolloing even small quantities of semi solid food. So there was no question of his turning away a thalia of food 3 days before his death. 4. Please refer to any authentic biography of sri ramakrishna to check what is written

The only thing that is appearing to stop you from enlightenment/self-realization/eternal life/knowing yourself to be unconditional love is identification with thoughts, emotions, sensations, perceptions and experiences instead of being aware of being aware and knowing yourself to be that unconditional love pure consciousness in which all thoughts, emotions, sensations, perceptions and experiences appear but are not inherently one with you; they are an expression of unconditional love; you are that infinite that is expressing itself as suffering/pleasure but inherently you are neither; you are that nothing/unconditional love/pure consciousness in which they are appear and by which they are perceived; Suffering/pleasure comes and goes; there is an awareness that is aware of them coming and going; that you are; remember and know what you are; never identify with anything that is appearing within you; since it appears within you; it can't be you; you are that in which it appears. When you abide as that in which it appears instead of identifying; nothing has a grip on you; if anything comes; it quickly goes; like clouds passing; only if you identify as a cloud then it will appear as if the cloud is here for longer than it is originally supposed to; if you simply rest as the awareness and do not identify; it will quickly dissolve; be unconditional love by being aware of being aware; this is the highest; this is what you are seeking in absolutely everything else; you are seeking yourself; you are seeking unconditional love; but you are looking outside of yourself; instead of being aware that you already are unconditional love. A man of mighty intensity, there in lay their success. Sadhguru, Ramana and Sri Ramakrishna are my examples, my masters, and they light the way for me.
Ramakrishna's mind always tend to stay on 6th to 7th plane. To bring down his mind in the lower plane may be 5th plane he used to ask for food. Even he took all non- veg foods also. General human mind used to stay in 1st to 3rd plane.

Later he didn't take goat meat, but he thought that if mother kali became angry, that,s why he used to make Tilak to his forehead from the cooked goat meat gravy as prasadam. As he didn't like sacrifice thats why after he left the body, in the Dhakineswar kali temple, where he practiced sadhana, goat sacrifice was totally stopped, till today also. Where this incident is written, in which book? Never read in any book that Sri Maa Saroda Devi was ashamed of thakur for "fondness of food". Yes, it's true Sri Ramakrishna told all the signs before His departure from this World. All To understand a small drop of Sri Ramakrishna ,need to go through Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna with due respect & devotion.

I am puzzled by this story. Sarada Devi lived in the nahabat building, not in the same building as Ramakrishna. He would have had to walk to another building to ask her "what is cooking?" And, Ramakrishna died of throat cancer. He was unable to eat for weeks before his passing. Only on his last day on earth, he experienced a sudden upsurge in vitality, as many do just before death, and ate a bowl of porridge. Why would Sadhguru relate a story that contradicts all eye witness accounts of Ramakrishna's life and passing?
In Isherwood's Biography, and other sources, I have read that Ramakrishna could barely eat during his last months, dying of throat cancer, and could only take liquids. Seems to contradict Sadhguru's story of the last 3 days. Source? Not saying this is incorrect, the other sources could be the incorrect ones, but the accounts definitely contradict.

What Vivekananda meant by "one touch" is the capability of Ramkrishna Paramhansa to impart Brahmgyan (i.e. the one nd only eternal science for Self Realization nd Practical experience of God within in the form of Divine Light between the eyebrows)... nd this Brahmgyan can only be imparted by a Perfect Master (Sampurn Guru)... Vivekananda has clearly explained that "this can only be initiated by an enlightened master who himself have seen God nd can make u see that right at the time of Deeksha with just one touch" nd then daily practice of Dhyan Sadhna on that Divine Light awakens the Divinity in the human being... That is how Narendra became Vivekananda nd that is why he said that Ramkrishna can make many more Vivekanandas with one touch... Now the question is that "Are all Gurus whom we see as knowledgeable nd enlightened, perfect master? "... Have they seen God?... Can they make us see God in a second?... Definitely not!!... I respect all the Gurus who impart great knowledge to us but I m sorry to say that they just talk the theories while only a Sampurn Guru can make this practically happen... nd 'Sadhguru' is not a sampurn Guru... In Ancient India too, there were many Saints nd Rishis nd they used to have many disciples too but most of them were not Sampurn Guru who can impart Brahmgyan... Little cooked up story 😉..the magnitude of greatness of Sri Ramakrishna is immeasurable. Vivekananda is considered as one among Saptha rishis, sometimes even as Shiva, Ramakrishna as Lord Vishnu. Vivekananda went to Nirpikalpa samadhi bcoz of Ramakrishna's help, however he is a born yogi(Ramakrishna says to other disciples, if vivekananda knows, who he is really, he leave his body, so he prevented vivekananda to be in Nirpikalpa samadhi, untill his work is done). He said, he is going to reborn, because Ramakrishna wants him too, wants him , when he reborn. And, Vivekananda once said, he wants to work, untill every living being in the world gets salvation. Out of his own desire to help the world, he wants to take birth. I suggest you to go through, Biography of Vivekananda and Complete works of Swami Vivekananda books, for clear understanding.🙏🙏🙏
I have heard this lecture twice now, it's amazing what you pick up if you listen well. I hit on a very important epiphany the second time around. From 4:45 onwards he says- ...if you realize I'm not this - NOT INTELLECTUALLY BUT IN EXPERIENCE- if there is a clear separation, then it is natural to keep this aside and walk away. Isn't it?.... See the key phrase here is this realization has to be felt not theorized. I often asked myself- what is keeping me small? Why do I keep reverting back to feeling unfulfilled and unhappy in spite of believing in a higher being, a soul and the primacy of the soul over the body and mind? The answer is that while there is Faith, there is no clear separation for me. I have to imagine these ideas and teach myself to keep the faith. I falter. I truly admire those who have absolute Faith without the experience.
I would humbly advise you to stop believing in the idea of soul . The first step towards enlightenment is to let go of every single preconceived notion in the mind and simply experience humanity. If you stop paying attention to your thoughts and emotions and simply experience humanity for what it is , you have started the process of realisation.
Although sadhguru doesn't claim himself but we all know that he is a yogi of highest order. Very rare birth on this planet.
A true yogi has the same infinite consciousness that another true yogi has . There are more true hidden saints in india ( dont know about the world )

Ramakrishna was a beautiful life. He also was suffering from a throat cancer, therefore It was not a smooth process as the Storytelling here. I understand the meaning of the teaching that “ the enlightened person stay in the world while he/she is interested in staying, like the desire for food.”

I thoroughly enjoyed this talk on Ramakrishna's desire for food. The reason he didn't eat the food before he died was because Ramakrishna was diagnosed with throat cancer, and stopped eating altogether before his mahasamadhi. It's like he knew in advance when or how he would cease operating in his own body.

What a tremendous way to describe that moment. Tears filled my eyes when Sadguru talked about that moment in Ramkrishna Paramhansas life. Such a deep meaning to realisation. In our Marathi culture there is mention of three ways to attain realisation the three margas karmamarga, yogamarga and bhaktimarga.

I have read in the Gospel of Ramakrishna by M that Ramakrishna died of throat cancer, and that for the last few months his throat was so bad that he could not eat. On one occasion he prayed to the Divine Mother to please make it possible for him to eat a little, and she replied, "What! Are you not eating through all these mouths?"

Here Sadguru is using the story to illustrate his point that the enlightened leave their bodies on attainment of enlightenment unless they need to stay, in which case they figure out a way to stay attached. In Sri Ramakrishna's case, in this story, he used the love of food to stay attached to his body

2.The event Sri sadguru refers to pertains to an old lady who had spent her life in tapasya to have a vision of Balagopala. For a shortwhile he would keep asking her to prepare some simple dish , while she wondered what sort of a sadhu he was. Soon she had the vision of Balagopala for 6 continuous months , got knowledge of her past life and she understood why he was asking for cooked food from her.
3. The paramahamsa was suffering from throat cancer for one year and had difficulty in swolloing even small quantities of semi solid food. So there was no question of his turning away a thalia of food 3 days before his death.
4. Please refer to any authentic biography of sri ramakrishna to check what is written
I read this incident in one of the RKM literature. Let me get the reference for you. I don’t claim it is 100% correct, but turning away the plate is what I read.

@@kali8025 Tailanga Swamiji was not Sri Ramakrishna's guru..His Guru was Totapuriji. And Sri Ramkrishna never insulted Tailangswamiji. Sri Ramkrishna suffered cancer as a result of causes of cancer as explained by science..not any mumbo jumbo fictitious insult or curse.

The only thing that is appearing to stop you from enlightenment/self-realization/eternal life/knowing yourself to be unconditional love is identification with thoughts, emotions, sensations, perceptions and experiences instead of being aware of being aware and knowing yourself to be that unconditional love pure consciousness in which all thoughts, emotions, sensations, perceptions and experiences appear but are not inherently one with you; they are an expression of unconditional love; you are that infinite that is expressing itself as suffering/pleasure but inherently you are neither; you are that nothing/unconditional love/pure consciousness in which they are appear and by which they are perceived;
Suffering/pleasure comes and goes; there is an awareness that is aware of them coming and going; that you are; remember and know what you are; never identify with anything that is appearing within you; since it appears within you; it can't be you; you are that in which it appears. When you abide as that in which it appears instead of identifying; nothing has a grip on you; if anything comes; it quickly goes; like clouds passing; only if you identify as a cloud then it will appear as if the cloud is here for longer than it is originally supposed to; if you simply rest as the awareness and do not identify; it will quickly dissolve; be unconditional love by being aware of being aware; this is the highest; this is what you are seeking in absolutely everything else; you are seeking yourself; you are seeking unconditional love; but you are looking outside of yourself; instead of being aware that you already are unconditional love. Love love

Ramakrishna's mind always tend to stay on 6th to 7th plane. To bring down his mind in the lower plane may be 5th plane he used to ask for food. Even he took all non- veg foods also. General human mind used to stay in 1st to 3rd plane.

Later he didn't take goat meat, but he thought that if mother kali became angry, that,s why he used to make Tilak to his forehead from the cooked goat meat gravy as prasadam. As he didn't like sacrifice thats why after he left the body, in the Dhakineswar kali temple, where he practiced sadhana, goat sacrifice was totally stopped, till today also.

The narration of Sadhguruji needs to be supported by source. Thakur (Sri Ramakrishna) was no doubt fond of food like jalebis, kulfi etc but he was never obsessed. He never had his food sitting on a swing . moreover he suffered from cancer in throat for a long time and couldnt eat anything. Question of thali 3 days before his death doesnt arise.

I am puzzled by this story. Sarada Devi lived in the nahabat building, not in the same building as Ramakrishna. He would have had to walk to another building to ask her "what is cooking?" And, Ramakrishna died of throat cancer. He was unable to eat for weeks before his passing. Only on his last day on earth, he experienced a sudden upsurge in vitality, as many do just before death, and ate a bowl of porridge. Why would Sadhguru relate a story that contradicts all eye witness accounts of Ramakrishna's life and passing?

In Isherwood's Biography, and other sources, I have read that Ramakrishna could barely eat during his last months, dying of throat cancer, and could only take liquids. Seems to contradict Sadhguru's story of the last 3 days. Source? Not saying this is incorrect, the other sources could be the incorrect ones, but the accounts definitely contradict.
