@@Achintyanath While I agree, a father's involvement is very 'short' in a child's birth. The mother is the one who grows the child in her womb for months. Which could be why very often mothers are attached to their children, even more than their husbands.

This is the sheer brilliance of Thakur Ramkrishna who ask us to chant only "MAA" or "MOTHER" .... Everybody on earth can relate to "Mother" irrespective of socio cultural religious background... So simple yet so brilliant It's also surprising how a person like you who has been born and brought up in a totally different social scenario is now talking about "Mother" ....
