There are MANY female hard rock and metal bands from Japan! Japan is pretty much leading the female metal scene. Nemophila, Lovebites, and Band-Maid are the elite trifecta. Also Aldious, Hanabie, Fate Gear, Bridear, Gaccharic Spin, Doll$boxx, Hagane, Trident, just to name a few. There are also several female-led Japanese hard rock and metal bands, including Unlucky Morpheus, Wagakki Band, Asterism (instrumental band) and BABYMETAL. Japan, both in terms of female bands and male bands, is leaving the rest of the world behind with their metal scene.
Yeah. I hated Japanese music at first. Now I love it. It's different. Not just Metal I love Vocaloid too. A lot of Waggaki Band songs are Vocaloid covers. Their most popular song Senbonzakura is a very famous Vocaloid. I also like their cover of Phony the original is a fantastic song too.

@@powbobs I know he makes Vocaloid. But is he popular? Wowaka RIP was a bass player. Tenshi Yonezu the huge jpop star is the Vocaloid producer Hachi. Hachi is elite. He has Vocaloid songs in top 10 all time on both Nico Nico and UA-cam.

Music hits everyone differently, yet it always draws us together. I’m a fan of over 20 Japanese groups today. Nemophila not only brings me back to my youth, but excites me for the future. I love all the other bands you’ve reacted too and more. Still, Nemophila idefinitely is in the top of my personal favorites. If you go down this road, there is so, so, so, much to react too. I’m of course including covers, previous bands, and more personal (get to know the musician) videos. Keep going.

Their lyrics are combination of English and Japanese. According to mayu (thunder throat banshee queen vocalist here), she chose which language to use according to how the music goes, if its short and compact, she prefer Japanese and switch to English for more 'open' parts of the music. Also there is another version of this song, namely U.S. Version but its all translated in English and when you listen to that version, you will understand why mayu chose to mix the language with appropriate placements because that U.S. Version sounds a bit 'softer' overall - not so much explosive factor as this original version... and with that being said, kudos to you as you chose the perfect version to react to. Most of their music video comes with English CC but yes it will be some kind 'distractions' to the whole reaction. Overall, good job and keep it coming. NEMOPHILA didn't really stick to one particular genre, they went into grunge, hard rock, metal, ballad, punk and basically, they just do whatever they want to do without limitation - and IMHO, their genre is just 'music'.
Band Maid is a fantastic japanese band. Not Metal but hard rock. But they have influences of Metal, funk, pop. Check out their oficial live versions Play, Dice, Manners, Domination, Onset are some great songs to start with Nemophila is also really really good. Check out their song Revive 👍
This is a great band. Live version of Sorai is great. Another great band is BAND-MAID. They are rock not metal but they are very impressive and they have many songs. Try their latest song Influencer then do one of the old songs like FREEZER.

Yeah i agree with you. The US version is not half as good as this and the original music video is so much better than the US version.
