Also a problem with a lot of people is that beats are too bassy but you can equalize , there are automatical equalizers like wavelet that put your headphones similar or equivalent to the harman curve or softwares like morphIT that solute this extra bass signature and make them more flat

M50s will probs lose that one my friend.... Even beats have soundstage. I hate to say beats do anything well, which they dont, it's just that M50Xs have NO soundstage or imaging. They're a monitoring headphone, and they're bad at that too.

Most people say that 8$ headphones are better than Beats which is not true. I have Bose QC 35 and Beats Pro. I like both but the Beats sound better in my opinion, because i like bass in my headphones.
only thing good about beats are the aesthetic. but of course thats personal preference but for me beats do look best compared to most other brands. but i buy headphones for build and sound quality, not to show off

It's really not that bad, and I don't like beats. I've Sennheisers PC360 for my PC and Bose QC35 for traveling but everyone bashing beats that much is just an anti-apple thing.

I'm using Beats Studio 2.0 wired, I just love them, I'm not a huge fan of beats but they sound very deep and very full, and they have a pretty awesome active noise cancellation (almost as good as Bose). I prefer them to the Bose QC35. One more thing to notice is that the build quality of the beats outmatches the build quality of the bose in my opinion, bose just loosk and feels not solid at all
skullcandy is also a brand that makes headphones more for the design.
but they actualy have balanced sound. and you can actualy listen to rock music with them.
while with beats. guitar would sound bassy and muddy. if you want better sounding headphones with a design that is also not bad. go for skullcandy.
but still "Sennheiser, audio technica, pioneer, and akg make the best sounding headphones.

They are manufactured in California so I highly doubt that they cost less than 100USD to make. Also, it really depends on what Beats you are talking about. You have Beats that cost $400 ($385) and you have Beats that cost $300 ($299). Obviously, the $400 Beats will cost more to make than the $300 Beats. You pay for the brand, the safety of the product (that it doesn't melt from the inside when charging or blows up), the product quality, the personnel who manufactured the product/ where the product is manufactured, and for the product quality.

If you have $80, do some research, there are far better sounding headphones for $80 out there. Beats sounding better than an $8 pair of headphones shows that you should spend more money on headphones, but it doesn't mean you should buy the beats. Buy some from a company which doesn't spend most of the headphone cost on marketing, and instead spends it on quality components. You won't regret it.
can't trust a company making audio products while paying celebrities $$$$$ to promote their product. when was the last time you saw an advertisement from Sennheiser, ATH with some pop stars? When did you ever see an advertisement from Shure or Beyerdynamic?
I only listen to hip hop and rap and beats is good for anyone who just listens to music a lot, if you're like a gamer or something else beats will do a decent job but aren't meant for that

For 80 bucks these beats are a nice pair of headphones with good build quality, good looking and good bass for bassheads. Everyone knows how much money Beats spends on marketing and that only adds to the popularity and image that comes with owning Beats headphones which many people enjoy, so theres no need to bash Beats. Compared to other 80 bucks headphones these do a very good job for the average music lover who wants a pair that are loud with good bass and look good. The only real issue with the ep is the portability but for 80 bucks you cant complain

But the thing is the lack really low bass so if you listen to electronic music you will not like them and they are open back so they will not block noise but for a pair of closed headphones for $80 Get the Status CB 1 or if you can go upt to $100 get the Audiotechnica ATH M40x

Just gonna say, over-ear headphones rest around your ears and have large cups so that they dont sit on your ear. The headphones in this video were both on-ear headphones.
Volume has nothing to do with quality, it has everything to do with impedance. In fact, high end headphones have high impedance more often than not and are therefore "quieter".
Daniel Hestopher true that. Studio Headphones generally have an impedance of 250-600 Ohms. If you Plug this into your Laptop, Smartphone or MP3 Player without a preamp you will probably hear nothing
Impedance (Ohm) got to do with the overall quality- one thing I noticed is that with cheap generic headphones I need to raise the volume higher to "feel" the music more, not the same with good quality headsets.
Beats are just a fashion statement. Bose are the real deal.

why not test them against a 69 dollar pair of Audio-Technica mx40? Save 11 bucks, get headphones that are at least 5x better.

Maybe Beats should start marketing their products like that - "Here, we bought you a shitty pair of Polaroid headphones so that you can compare them to our headphones!" ...The problem with this is, Apple/Beats would never put their products up against brands like Beyer Dynamic, Sennheiser or Audio Technica ... because 1. Most of those headphones would make Beats sound like Polaroids... 2. Those three brands have headphones that are much less expensive than Beats and sound 10 times better. Lulz!

I bought these wireless Bluetooth earbuds from the open box clearance rack at Best buy for $24. I've been using them for 16 months and they bump hard and clear and the battery last pretty damn long. The brand is called JAM.
