I’m not gonna lie, I love F13, but they’ve fallen off a cliff in recent times. Very inconsistent uploads, the rebranding of the discord, in my opinion, was a detriment to it and it’s now almost completely dead, with people leaving daily. A small thing that’s mostly a personal thing, but I personally don’t like the landfall animations. I used to watch the daily updates regularly, but the inconsistency threw me off and I don’t really watch F13 anymore, and it’s pretty sad. I also think that a few other UA-camrs have now overtaken F13 in animation quality, and the best by far in this community now is Nxthan, whose animations are absolutely incredible, and everyone should check him out. His discord is constantly growing and his animations just keep getting better. F13, I really don’t like digging into you, but you’ve gotta get your act together if you’re going to stay competitive.

I mean F13 was the sole reason other people made their own animations. But definitely their quality and the channel has fallen off.

Completely agree with this. As an old ultimate fan of theirs around 2019ish, I lost interest in their channel after they started hiring so many people that their styles for animation, storm updates, and even uploads got so inconsistent. It's hard not to notice one brand's style clash with itself. It even feels more corporate, and I miss the days when Nathan was the main man of the channel instead of all of the other team members doing whatever it is they do. I understand wanting to have more people to help contribute, but there needs to be a consistent style for everything, and I believe Nathan can really help to bring that old consistency back. I miss his storm update narrations.

@@notmrpopular0099After watching this, I agree with Oriana, Tara, and Foster. Reeva might get spared since it didn’t make landfall despite its status.
Probable changes in this season: Bret becomes a major hurricane, Cindy becomes a hurricane, Franklin reaches category 5 status, Harold is probably a major hurricane in this season, Idalia makes landfall in florida at the intensity of around 130/940, Lee becomes an extremely powerful and destructive storm as it slams into the east coast, Margot is a category 2 and Nigel is a category 3, Ophelia reaches hurricane status, Philippe becomes a long lived major hurricane, Sean becomes a hurricane, Tammy becomes or a cat 5 storm or nears that strength, another category 5 hurricane slams into southern Cuba, A storm forms near the Bahamas and strikes the east coast, a category 4 strikes Cuba and ravages the greater antilles from the west in November, a hurricane forms out at sea and two storms forming in December, one close to Florida and the other forming slightly to the north of the MDR (Main Development Region)

I remember a few moments of extreme scenarios the models want for some IRL storms... Some real examples I (or we) can remember:
Bret and Cindy to be early-season hurricanes
Franklin intensifying to C5
Idalia to intensify to a C4 (?) at landfall
Lee intensifying to a 195mph+ monster
This could be more intense
Gert and Jose not being TS.

3:22 Does anyone know why Bret took this weird path? I lived in the Midwest a large amount of my life so hurricanes are fairly new to me.
Being on the gulf coast I was glad last years season wasn’t that bad. So far we’ve been lucky where I am at. I moved down here 4 years ago and moved down right after a zeta passed through, there were tree limbs and messed up buildings everywhere it was crazy! The people here told me that they were more scared during Zeta, than they were Katrina which was surprising to hear.
This is gonna be interesting, especially where Emily, Franklin, Gert, Harold, and Idalia forms. Also Lee as well.

I remember when Dora was active, people are debating about Dora's influence about the fires in Hawaii... rather than talking about the deadly fires and the horror stories that came with it... That might have been why the USA requested Dora to be disposed... Coincidentally, Dora was also retired in the ATL after replacing Donna!

ok, what i have seen? oh god? 3.5/10, very bad in all aspects with a few things that can be save.
Cons
- Small Icons
- Font Names that actually doesnt fit, with even not bold on the borders
- A lot of bugs and errors in the animation
- Timeline being so similar to FCX
- Terrible landfall markers, that effect barely make me feel bad.
- Music that doesnt fit actually
- Bad Hue shift on icons
- Poorly made summary with a lot of issues
- Summary names being bad with the font and names barely visible
- Delay by part of the animator with the pre-intro, talking about a storm when is other actually.
- Terrible storm images for summary
- No summary background, just blue
- Too simple, with only markers or icons, timeline and map barely with a water effect.
