1970 wpac, featuring Olga, Georgia, Hope, Joan, and Patsy, powerful category 5s. And Kate, a storm that made a CATEGORY 5 LANDFALL on the furthest south point of Mindanao. (Lowest landfalling category 5 ever recorded in the northern hemisphere).
Featuring Typhoons Ellen and Forrest! This animation reminds me of the 1997 WPAC season animation, old and new versions mixed together, and the mid-animation video clips reminds me of 2005 ATL V5 and 2023 WPAC ngl
Personally I think this animation was decent. Music choice was pretty good. It was pretty smooth also. I do wish for older landfall instead of the new and the satellite is an interesting thing to see back but idk how I feel about and its frame by frame style. I personally think it be best by just the standards in my opinion. I give this animation a 7/10
What makes the older satellite animation one from 2017 better is how it keeps up more smoother with the icons and also being able to see through the icon to see the eye of the typhoon. Maybe sure this satellite is just older but for newer ones I would recommend where they keep up better with the animation.
Also Forrest pressure dropped 100 millibars in 24h from 976mb to 876mb. So Forrest is the fastest intensifying storm on record globally in terms of pressure.

First usage of satellite imagery in an animation since 2017!
But still a very interesting season, featuring Forrest
forrest was deadly and damageing
Same!
Yesss one of the top 5 most requested seasons!
That just leaves 1961 wpac, 1969 wpac, 1976 wpac, and 1997 wpac v3.

the satellite issue is mostly due to how old this is, 1983 was only like 15 years since satellite imagery
80s themed thumbnail
How about 1984
What does the “That’s a wrap!” thing seen just before the season resume reference to?
the season ended
Cool! The first use of satellite imagery in a while. Also such a very active season for the WPAC! Looking out for more.
Really like the animator's style too.
YESS FINALLY
never expected the 2017 satelite animations to return, even less with the new icons
What was the max wind
For typhoon Forrest?
Yep 4:43 WTH
@@ZimsorwonOffical185, reclassified to 205 for F13
Good animation, the satellite was a little choppy though
That’s how it was back in 1983. Satellite imagery was only introduced to the world in that format a few years prior.
@kyrios5536 oh OK
What a season!
wow, the fact that they have returned to the hybrid of satellite and animation is cool
Cool thumbnail.
The thumbnail and animation looks retro and nostalgic!
A WAPC season good
YES! This crazy season
1997 season vibes for me
6:04 940 mbar for only a C2 typhoon! And I thought Sandy was impressive!
Ah snap!
I feels F13's new animations are nostalgic...
Which typhoon featuring?
forrest
Forrest, the fastest intensifying storm on record.
Cat 1 straight to Cat 5.
75 mph to 205 mph.
Also Forrest pressure dropped 100 millibars in 24h from 976mb to 876mb. So Forrest is the fastest intensifying storm on record globally in terms of pressure.
Wow this is amazing
I kinda hated how local names are no longer placed in top of the name.
That actually depends on who is animating the season animation.
The thumbnail was quite synthwavey-looking.
Very messy in the Philippines start in June and end in December
Oh wow
My request from F13

This is from F13 analysis and most of official estimates were underestimated
Bro you have to remember that F13 have their own analyst team and that's why it's different from official's report.
