Dang, I didn't know Sam liked Avatar. Good'ta know that he's a man of culture.
It's great to know that Netflix lied not only to the creators but to all Avatar fans, didn't respect their vision, and to what? Maybe to just age up the characters to make it darker, edgy, and more 'teen'? Just cancel it, it's better than having another disappointment.
I swear, these big corporations have absolutely no common sense when it comes to decisions like these. You summed it up perfectly of what they needed to do. They needed to let them work. They get a paycheck while Netflix gets the big bucks from the huge viewership and the appreciation. It's THAT simple. Why is it that hard for these people to do so?

I just watched The Last Air Bender Movie on Netflix and now I think the Emoji Movie is underrated
even if this show is mediocre, I would prefer them just canceling it
I have always hated the idea of a live action Avatar. Those characters and stories exist in the world of animation because animation is the best medium to tell the story. Their is just things in live action you can’t recreate. And I’m not even talking about the magical bending, I’m talking about Sokka comedic timing, Aang’s goofy smile, Azula’s crazy faces. The literal cartoonish slapstick. Animation can create a manic energy that just can’t be in live action.
Avatar is already perfect. No need to make a sequel or adaptation.
The madman he actually did it. I mean he did say it in the stream. Hearing a person ranting about it, will probably make me feel better about the whole thing :)
Watch the creators left because Netflix probably wanted to start sexualizing the characters for mass appeal
Now you know how I feel about studios in general like with Warner Bros. screwing up Justice League and EVERY SINGLE MOVIE IN THE PAST DECADE, this is why I stopped respecting companies like Warner Bros., Disney, Sony, Paramount Pictures etc. because they think they know what's best for themselves and the so called "fans" who never watch said show, played said game and read said book.
Long ago the Avatar live action Netflix series was going well...but everything changed when Netflix attacked...
Almost impossible to change the show to make it better. The writing was almost perfect especially in season 2 and 3. We'll see what they do with it, at the least it likely won't be as bad as the movie lol.. shame though

I literally said a few streams ago on this channel via a donation, That I absolutely LOVED!!!!! the show and that I was looking forward to this live action version.
Someone send this video to Netflix. They WILL have to answer to the fans eventually. Better to fix it now than wait until the show is in full production.
I'm so pissed off right now.
I remember watching the series back in 2010 on nick and I loved it but I could never remember all of it and the cartoon series now on Netflix made me so happy and to see that Netflix is trying to shit on the creators of the show is 100% and I agree that they should cancel this or else, they have ruined the fan base
