Affleck is the best Batman, but these are the best Batman movies
Ras put himself on that train, he was just intimidating Bane, and he was done with the whole super hero thing by the time he got to Talia. It was either shoot the bitch, or let Gotham be nuked.
It was out of necessity (like Two-Face) and (like Two-Face) he hung up the cowl afterwards. Permanently.
I hated how Affleck killed people, but that was a script problem, not Affleck's.
Actually I think Val Kilmer was the best Batman, but one of the worst Bruce Waynes.

I am one of the few people that actually likes Batman Begins more than The Dark Knight. While, from an acting perspective, The Dark Knight deserves much respect, because of Heath Ledger's performance, from a storytelling perspective, Batman Begins did something that no Batman film has done. What it did so uniquely is tell the origin story of how Bruce Wayne transformed himself into Batman in a manner that was believable, relatable, and infused with enough character development and drama to make it worthy of serious respect.
Plus, I liked Bale as Batman better in this movie. The voice wasn't as exaggerated.
You're not alone. I think Batman Begins is a superior film. It did the best out of all 3 movies of successfully walking that line between realism and comic book. The Dark Knight tried too hard to be a crime movie like Heat. And The Dark Knight Rises while a solid conclusion to the trilogy was still a bit of a narrative mess.
Also maybe I'm the only one who feels this way, but I thought Bale's performance in The Dark Knight was not very good. He was sleepwalking through that flick. He was far more engaged in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Rises. His Batman voice was also far more tolerable in Begins before he started using that raspy delivery. And Begins also had the best suit.

Unpopular opinion; Batman Begins remains my favorite comic book film of all time. It focused on the hero, great origin story, well-thought story about the theme of fear, we understand the character Bruce, on how he will not kill, on how he still feel guilty, and starting an agenda. Seriously, the movie means so much to me, childhood memories, 1 of my first introduction to Batman (live action, other than the animated series one), my personal favorite Batsuit, and also first live action version of my favorite villain of all time; Scarecrow.Overall the movie means SO..so..SOOOOO much to me and I can't think of any negative thing to say about it. The Dark Knight was an amazing film but Begins means so much more to me personally

The problem is that no matter how good the action is, it's just visual noise if you don't care about the characters. I actually cared whether or not Bale's Batman lived or died, which I didn't with Affleck's Batman.

"SWEAR TO ME" is fucking iconic at this point lol. I love Batman Begins. Bale freaking kills it. Not trying to start a war here, but I don't get why people think Keaton was better than Bale. Bale was perfect as Bruce and really nailed a more realistic Batman that Nolan was going for.

Indeed, the whole trilogy was more of a Bruce Wayne story than a Batman story, taking more of a realistic approach. It was also good to see Bruce have a happy ending in the end after everything he went through throughout the trilogy. Something that we may never see in the comics (or any other superhero movie).
"I don't get why people think Keaton was better than Bale" because nostalgia. Same with the "Jack Nicholson is way better than Ledger". Pretty sure that if those same people were to watch the 1989 Batman movie today, for the first time, as an adult, they wouldn't say that. Or that if it was to be released today there wouldn't be as many people praising Batman and Joker portayals.

Nah, Joker is overrated in TDK. The Joker wasn't even intended to be the central point of TDK, but rather Harvey Dent.
Joker was originally planned to be the main and sole antagonist in TDKR until the untimely death of Ledger.
People keep saying " _OMG Joker damaged Batman so much mentally and physically in TDK._ " When in fact it was Dent who physically harmed Batman by shooting him and mentally by showing him his fear that even the best of men can succumb to their own demons, alongside feeling responsible for what happened to the Man he considered a friend and a close ally in his struggle against crime. All Joker did was keep vying for the attention of Batman until he got it.
There's a reason the final scene involves Dent, Batman & Gordon instead of Batman & Joker.

Yo, BvS batman is the best on-screen batman yet, the movie might have been bad, but man, Affleck nailed it.
He kills just as many people in Nolan's trilogy, setting fire to the League of Shadows headquarters, straight up shooting a guy from the Bat.
But Battfleck is a more dark and punished batman, he got Robin murdered so now he will go as far as skipping his own moral rules in order to avenge his death, to understand batfleck you shoul watch/read the dark knight returns, this batman has already been in the strerts for a long time.

It's like if a Kryptonite somehow exploded in front of a human's face but he's completely fine, and then you come along saying that it's designed to hurt Superman. Yes, but humans are still vulnerable to explosions. Same w/ people being mostly made of water.

I still remember going to see Batman Begins when I was 11. I was completely blown away! It had cool action, a dark and mature story, and I didn’t know who Christian Bale was yet but man did he knock it out of the park! The only other superhero film to top it was its sequel

DeadlyTwists, even with Bale wanting to be Batman his version still can't hold a candle to Afflecks. I just wish Heath's Joker wasn't wasted on Bale. If he was a more comic accurate joker he would have been perfect.

Exile Studios he only used a gun twice in this movie, both times were straight from the comics.
