The hydroelectric dam in Croatia was put to power two days after the Niagara falls one, both designed by Nikola Tesla, it was the first one in Europe and it was designed to power up street lights in the city Šibenik making it the first city in the world with street light powered by alternating current electrical power.

I just booked a 9hr day trip here for 30 dollars in August 2020. Hopefully the 'Rona will keep the crowds away.

@@krunoslavkovacec1842 I am sure there are those who do not think so as tourism bring in $$$ for the people and government. If the numbers of tourists are not manageable, then just implement some sort of control like quotas. Reduce the number of hotels and automatically there will be less tourists as there are less accommodations available. Think not complain.
