I went back in 2018 when you could still swim. I’m sad that it’s no longer allowed, but I also get it. It’s a national park and needs to be protected. Croatia has gotten to be super popular and with so many people swimming at Krka, you cannot as easily protect the river.
You looked really happy that day ❤ I also visited Croatia last month but couldn't visited national parks due to small kids 😢 but I love split, trogir and hvar island.
NP Krka is huge, some attractions are far away from that most visited part, such as the most attractive Manojlovac waterfalls where you can swim but that is more adventurous. Btw visit Krka from Šibenik ;))
Hi, thank you. I AM SO HAPPY THAT YOU SHARED THIS VIDEO!!!!! I am going to be there in 2 weeks in an excursion from a cruise I have been planning for a year. I wanted to go to the park since I booked the trip because it is so beautiful. Timing is perfect. Thank you for your content, I have been following for a while now. You guys are awesome.
Dobar Dan!!!!
Hello! I dont understand how much you pay for ticket? At 1:29 sec i saw Adults 15 euro? This price is only for boat ticket and after when you arrived by boat you pay for Adults 40 euro just to visit Skradinski Buk? = 55 euro for one Adults?
Awesome content. We will be traveling to Croatia in August. In your opinion, should we prebook tickets, or do you think we would be safe to purchase tickets the same day at the Krka Park?
Okay, this is helpful informaiton. We are fighting, a bit, with time - we have three weeks in Croatia, but Plitvice was getting more and more difficult to fit in, with everything else to see! So maybe Krka, which is on our way, would be an acceptable alternative ... hmmm. There are day-trips to Plitvice from Zagreb though ... hmmm.
Krka Narodnyj Park is a great place! I remember the time when you could swim in the water just at the waterfall! It was great and dangeraous at the same time. Thanks for the video - this is so nice to see you all laughing, joking and having great time altogether :-) Greetings from Poland!
Only after Croatia joined the communist European Union was no swimming in Krka national park implemented. Part of the EU's rules for ascension. EU: "Hey Croatia there's this thing called covid so you can't let people swim in the waterfalls like they've been doing for centuries." Croatia: "Well we need the economic support (welfare) from the EU, so alright no swimming." Sad when so called leaders give concessions to beaurocrats from other countries...

The website says that there is one spot you can swim at Krka. That is why we bought tickets in advance. We will be there in late August.

It's the 2nd oldest alternating current power plant in Europe, I think. There are older direct current power plants elsewhere in the world.
When did you go there? Price in their website for adults is 40€😢
Very nice but disappointing that no swimming aloud.
Yep, unfortunately not any more ...due too many drownings, people's disrespect, rubish...and it's a national park!
U nacionalnim parkovima nema plivanja.
What is the entry price to the park? On the website it is 40 while on video it is 15?
Amazing ❤
Thanks 😄
3:50 haha to je nas humor
🤣🤣
❤
👍👏
Hey when you shoot this video.. you wear jackets .. is still cold there.. we are visiting in next week..
Nice video and motivate me to visit there
We did it in April, no worries now it is hot here
Why are you not allowed to swim any more?
I think for safety reasons
Love this place, frist time I've visited it, was 1972 whith my parents. Krka is much better then the overrated, overprized and overcrowded Plitvice...
Go to Kravice, Hercegovina instead for swimming!
👌👌👌👌👌💝
Habsburgs don't get enough recognition for all their work.
