    I was pretty fast back in the late 70’s, always used a flat hand. I’ll give it a go!

    I’d recommend you try a more open hand, with sufficient touch you can control more water.

    Whats the logic behind this? I'd like to see him time himself with both techniques. Isn't cupping simulating finger paddles? Just curious.

    You just did again the wrong way. In the end, your hands have to be very close
