It's been over like 10 years since he wrote the song. If he still feels pain from the lyrics he needs psychological help. That's like having a family member die 10 years ago and every time you think about them you burst in to tears. As time moves on you learn to deal with the pain and if you don't then you are not all there mentally. I have an amazing therapist I can refer this guy to if he needs help.

@Chun Yee The girl in the song is his ex, not a stranger in the usual way it's meant. So there's a pretty good chance the girl knows it's about her, seeing as she would have dated him and been on the subway with a different, well built man.

Very intense emotional delivery...I think that behind all his humourous remarks lies a very sensitive person.
Actually to clarify that he used to be adict and the song came frome that dark place is a very brave thing to do which puts in the stand that he is a very sensitive human being.

It's hard to explain to someone who have never used drugs what it does to your emotions. You see a pretty face and it is magnified to the point where you feel you've see an angel and you can't live without them. And then you sober up...

When I was 25 and walking through Astoria, a mostly Greek section of NY, I passed a girl, she had long black soft curly hair, cabernet red lips and dark almost black eyes with perfect olive skin, she wore simple Calvin jeans with heels and a white t-shirt, she smiled knowing I was admiring her but never made eye contact, it was a 30 second love affair and I regret to this day not asking her name. I relive that 30 seconds every time I hear this song 💘
