After watching your last video 4 times and studying every play, I invested hard in to my rank 7 zangoose and tried this team out...After approx 30% win rate with it I have come to realise I suck and you just have some mad skills...keep the content coming man. Love it.
At the same time however skills aren't that much of a requirement if you're relying on state boost. Also the algorithm doesn't give a fuck of you "study". The more a team is circulating in GBL, how often will you have a good matchups if the algorithm sees more of the same team??? U won't lol. That's why I never copy and paste teams I see online lmao.

Finally invested in the only obstagoon I’ve been able to get and I have exactly zero regrets. Got the boost in my first match and it helped me win 😂 such a cool Pokémon!
I used to use my MOUNSTRAGOON with hyper beam and hits so hard with 180 of power, I think is better because it hits every think. With this Obstagoon can one shot Swamperts, Alolan Muks, poliwraths, etc, etc.

Just curious, what if you ran sludge wave on Swampert? Most Togekisses don’t shield the first hydro cannon, and I think that would really surprise Togekiss leads.
I’ve definitely thought about it. However, I’ll need EQ for Registeel, Alolan Muk, and Empoleon and Escavalier with shields down. I’ve also had to finish off a few Giratinas with EQ so that’s come in handy too. I’ll def look into it but besides the charmers and the rare shiftys, I think EQ provides better coverage in UL
A comment for the algorithm! You really teach some good lessons, but if I may give an advice you could do the "i show my losses too" speech (which is great) at the end of the match or when it's clear you'll lose as it kind of kills the mood to know beforehand. Really top notch content though!

I only have 1 zangoose but its ivs are middle not balanced would it be worth it to power it up for ultra league use? Ive an obstagoon as well attack iv is just shy of 15 should I wait until I get a better obstagoon to power up?
I recommend waiting for a better Zangoose, maybe one from a lucky trade. You’ll want close to 100% IVs on it. Obstagoon has been fine for me even thought it doesn’t have great pvp IVs. They’re still quite bulky :)

If you really want you can also run iron head for fairies as well but foul play and close combat are valuable coverage that is lost if you run iron head. Think about the cost of running iron head before using it. You have less play against regi if you forgo close combat and you have less play against cress and Giratina without foul play. It’s a tough decision to make, but if you have swampert or Obstagoon with shields regi is easily handled. Most people assume that you will run close combat so try to act like you are if you choose the iron head route. Iron head definitely shores up your back line against fairies here. Gunk shot on obstagoon is also a better option but you could potentially run both.

I personally wouldn't since the fighting typing makes it way weaker to ghosts and psychics, which are pretty common. Sirfetch'd is a great mon but just not as a Zangoose replacement
Shiftry with Zangoose is a tough line to play. I’ve tried it in some of my other videos but with the influx of DB Giratinas, Obstagoon, and Escav, it’s really hard to use. Perrserker or Escav can a solid substitute.
Try empolion instead of swampet with hydro cannon and flash cannon/quicker than blizzard so gets through more. And has good matches against Crussella and other meta.

No matter how hard I try, I just can't seem to make this team work for me. My MMR has tanked about 300 points over the last week...which is pretty discouraging.
@@CalebPeng it's all good! Still a fun team to use. I just need more practice with it. I'm a huge Zangoose fan. I actually did switch back to that other team, and I dug myself out of the hole and recovered most of my MMR in just 2 days. I'm back at Rank 9 level.
Love this team, Man! I don't have a good Swampert for ultra, so I'm using my hundo best buddy Blastoise instead. Doing pretty well, but I'm still having so much trouble with those rare Venusaur leads. I try to swap into obstagoon, but venusaur just hits so hard! Any tips on how to combat that?
I actually really like Blastoise in the lead instead of Swampert. I just don’t have one to test yet 😅. Venusaur unfortunately is usually a hard loss. I’ve never managed to beat one but luckily, I’ve only ran into 2 so far. Best bet would be to wear down shields and try to land a gunk shot on a weakened venusaur

Mmm on which mons? For shiftry, snarl is fine. But bullet seed for sceptile, and VW for Venu and meganium are solid

Perrserker has foul play instead of night slash. Same coverage, different resistances, no boosts. I'm running iron head to counter fairies.
Perrserker is a great replacement. In some ways, it’s better than Zangoose, especially with all the DB Giratinas.
If you really want you can also run iron head for fairies as well but foul play and close combat are valuable coverage that is lost if you run iron head. Use giratina it’s not a direct counter but it beats venuusaur pretty easily
