yeh vigoroth one of the best safe switches, if u can gain that little bit of energy before they switch into something which isnt a hard counter then its nice
The past couple days i been really struggling this team just helped me out i just went 18 wins outta 20 battles . i needed that kinda moral boost after getting completely wrecked the past 3 days lol
Was getting tired of my previous team so gave this one a shot after watching you and 4thebattles gave to much success. Quickly dropped 7/8 and wondered why i switched off my old team lol. Proves once agin that success is not about team comp but all about skill in GBL
I've been using whiscash as a lead on a team like this but instead of vigoroth I have meganium. I switched to skarm and went 5-0. skarm doesn't have as many favorable matchups as whiscash, but when it loses it usually just barely does so, and if I encounter a stunfisk I can switch to whiscash and have meganium in the back for the hard counter and a potential regi. I hope I get enough candies for a vigoroth soon though lol
I’ve been trying this team for the last few days, whilst you and 4thebayttles have been climbing I’ve been struggling 13-25 or similar(under 60%) in all 3 days
Oh wow. I did use this combination last couple day. The one opponent that i remember has mew with wild charge and focus blast. He focus blast vigoroth. Oh ggwp
running something similar, azumarill, vigoroth, alolan marowak. dont win the lead, safe swap to vigoroth and marowak can handle the grass/steel with ease
The same happened to me, but with the Toxi-Azu-Regi team. Was using a very similar team, then it got mainstream and now the surprise factor is basically gone...
ChromePvP Well, if you think about it, azu+regi wasn’t really as “core meta” then as it is now. It was teams like the "HouseStark-team” etc. that really made them core meta (the Regi+Azu+anything thing). Back then, Altaria e.g. was equally as meta, perhaps even more than Regi. I basically never encountered Toxi at all, never this specific trio at least with Toxi as lead. After the HouseStark video, however, it was everywhere and people also knew what I was up to... I was using Basti instead of Regi btw, and PR azu, not IB.
ChromePvP Where did I say they weren’t a thing since GBL lanched? Just saying that this trio wasn’t a thing at all before getting popularized by HouseStark. Also that Regi+azu weren’t that popular the first few months as it is now. The meta is more settled and "figured out” now. Please read my comments more careful before commenting next time, it starts to become somewhat tiring.
@@TheeChrome Sure, I can agree with you're saying. But I still don't see how it "goes against" what I was saying in the first place. Your first comment didn't really have anything to do with what I was saying, whereas the second one can be reasonable along with what I was saying (doesn't mean I was "wrong"). And yeah, deleted it since I thought it was an unnecessary comment, sorry for that.
Lol now I understand why my shiftry - azu (PR/HP) - registeel team met skarmory - vigoroth - whiscash so much last days. Switched azu to IB/HP (was thinking about that for a while), seems to have improved things for me. I don't see your team anymore.
I've been running this team with Swampert instead of Whiscash. Swampert lead with skarm/vig in the back to switch in on the inevitable grass switch. Hydro cannon spam is great on umbreon/azu/whiscash/really anything with EQ in the back for registeel
@@Ambassin__ against regi i let the flash cannon hit and charge 2 wild charge, or he use two shields or dies, against altaria if the wild charge hits I also win, in both cases I carry two wild charges before using, but against plant I switch and it will depend on the other pokemon
Hi Kieng, Can you elaborate a little bit further on what you said at 3:38 about not throwing the body slam because you dont wanna get farmed down? I dont quite get it and it sounds really interesting. Its to bait them into thinking you are trying to get a bulldoze? Great content as usual, keep it up.
I ran this team with Lanturn instead of Whiscash. Gives you a hard answer to Azu switches, but you have a bit harder time against steels and Stunfisk is kind of an auto-loss.
It’s not always an auto loss, I’ve been using lanturn for a bit and if you have hydro pump you can slay stuns.. he’s also an amazing hard counter to skar and again if you have hydro pump and play it right you can take a huge chunk outta the mud boys and the steel types
only ever use probopass sableye medicham wins more than it loses just about. took me ages to learn how to battle properly and when to shield and when not too lol. but this will help if i change as i have all 3 of them ready but never use them. thanks dude
Thinking of giving this team a try. My Virogoth does not have a second charge move though. I would need to invest about 70 rare candies. Is he worth it or not?
Hey Kieng, I'm using the same team but I lead Vigoroth because it tends to have more favorable matchups against the oponent granting me switch advantage. I was wondering why do you think Skarmory is a better lead? Anyways, really helpful video :D
Hi Kieng. I would like to ask you one thing. Do you use any trick to make tour game run at 60FPS? Definitely my game doesnt run like yours and I don't play on a bad smartphone 😅😅
Hey Kieng! Would this team work just as well with Triple Legacy Seaking in place of Whiscash? Are there any advantages/disadvantages it would bring with it?
I tried the same exact team today but with vigoroth as a lead. one fight failed miserably because of laggs, but the other 4 were victorious. I like this team, wanna see how you use it :)
Not really, whishcash has an easy win, Vigoroth wins 0 and 2 shield scenarios, Hypno and Azumarill on the other hand can really be problematic since you need to either invest more shields or to do perfect shield bait/call.
Welp... time to change my comp now that everyone knows about it! Haha but seriously, this team has gone 3-2/4-1 so consistently for me rising from 1900-2200.
