Please please keep this series going. Please. I'm the type of learner who needs videos in order teaching me the language. It's been quite helpful. Thank you.
Dear Daria, When is lesson 23 scheduled to come out? I’m very excited to watch it, your series has been extremely helpful in my journey to learn Russian. Thank you very much.
Хех, смешно то что я из России, но тем не менее мне интересно смотреть уроки русского на английском. Даже с учётом того что это по сути базовый уровень ,но крайне увлекательно следить за прогрессом людей. Всем удачи в изучение.
honestly, as of now, I can't find any lesson that incorporates almost all grammar classes gradually like this. It all makes sense when to change the ending, which case to apply etc. Teacher Dariya is doing a wonderful job in explaining the grammar! love
Your English is great which makes you a great teacher of Russian. I have just discovered you and I am excited to start with my new re-chosen Russian teacher! I like finding similarities in languages. And I remember «дом» as similar to “domicile”. This is exciting. I’m excited to learn with you
I’m so sorry I missed the beginning of the premier! Thank you for the lesson Daria. I’m very new to Russian, I hope soon I will progress far enough that I can engage in the live premier by writing back with Russian
I have been studying for about 445 days, 420 consecutively, and I want to encourage you that even if you only do a little each day, it adds up and before you know it, you will be speaking and writing in Russian. Я учился около четырёхсот сорока пяти дней, четыреста двадцати дней подряд, у я хочу воодушевить вас, что даже если вы будете делать каждый день понемногу, это будет складываться, и, прежде чем вы это узнаете, вы будете сочится и пишет по русски!
Hello Daria! thanks for these lessons, they really help a ton. I hope you continue this series with more explanations for cases as I find your videos as the easiest to understand 😄
Hello ma'am, I am eagerly waiting for you to continue this series. You have helped me a lot in learning! You also motivated me through the lectures as well Thank You Stay Safe and Healthy From a student of urs
Дорогая Дарьяь, Я начал смотреть этот сериал в 1 классе бакалавриата, а сейчас почти закончил аспирантуру! Я так грустная, что-то я не могу приехать в Россию из-за КОВИД-19. Вы прекрасная учительница. Большое спасибо!
I am so happy to find your channel. There are so many things to learn здесь! And now I have passed all these 22 lessons. They were ( and still are 😊) amazing! بسیار ممنونم
Как обычно, все прошло отлично. Я всегда узнаю что-то новое от тебя, Дарья, даже если мне кажется, что я действительно хорошо понимаю тему, ты проливаешь на неё новый свет. Спасибо большое!
I noticed that a lot of cases-teaching contents on internet actually are not explaining or illustrating what the case at study is. The first thing to explain cases and make persistent their application through the lesson should be to put up illustration phrases right at the beginning, as a contextual foundation. Minimally should be to take time giving a couple of phrases to refresh the context in which the case may apply. Those example phrases should be there right at the beginning, otherwise there is no point. Lessons should be self-contained and not reliant on past communication. They should be completetly auto-explanatory in themselves even if for brief mentions.
Way back in the eighties I used to (had to) learn Russian (that was common in the 'Eastern Block'). I can still remember there were some kind of magazines with a thin blue foil record of simple songs and nursery rhymes in each of them; we used to listen to those almost every lesson. As I remember all of us hated it (I mean learning Russian); then came '89-90, and everybody suddenly turned to West, schools had ceased teaching, even people did not want to have anything to do with Russian any more. (So was I.) It was only in the recent past that I badly started to regret it. And there is some sort of weird coincidence: I was just listening to a song with the title 'Daria', my sons were looking for some T-34 video, and YT had these lessons among the recommendations. I have just had my leg broken so I really do have time, and clicked on it, and what a good decision it was! Daria, You have extraordinary proficiency and a killing sense of humour - I wish I had had this kind of teacher back when I had to learn the language - but I am really happy to have stumbled upon Your channel. Congrats!
i will have to really study this. zIt is amazing how much I have forgotten over the 20 years of not using it and I graduated with highest honors in all the University in Russian and my teacher was from Moscow. We were close friends til the day she died.
I don’t know if it’s already been mentioned in the comments. dative case is not twisted in Russian as you say: Italian, French, Spanish, German express the action of liking something with the dative case. But I think that expressing this concept in English is much more reasonable and direct.
Hi Daria. I've been away from studies here for awhile. May I congratulate you and hubby on your new baby and a brother to Roman. Happy belated birthday for Dec 23. Happy Christmas. And lastly a very Happy New Year's to you and your family. Looking forward to the new lessons. Reviewing all my notes to catch up. One of my New Year's resolution is to concentrate more on Russian studies tenaciously. Although I did not come online much till now, I did refer to my notes once in awhile to keep current. I need to expand myself further. Don't want to stop now. Your lessons are so much fun. I have a huge Smart TV now and the lessons for me are watched there life sized lol. I feel like a student in the classroom with my teacher Daria at the front. I love it
Hello friends , I already learned these 22 lessons and I motivated to learn more is there any other ways that you suggest, or is there any professional online courses from Daria
Why haven't you continued making lessons on Cases you ended on number 22 in these series. I have exams next month and I only find your video's interesting. Пожалуйста, делайте больше видео 🙏. Пожалуйста делайте больше ваши видео мне очень помогли. И за это я благодарна 👏👏
Re #2: In English, this would be the indirect object-the person for whom or to whom the action is done. Examples: I gave money to my friend and I did a favor for his sister. “Friend” and “sister” are indirect objects and would be in the dative case. BTW, “money” and “favor” are direct objects because they answer the question “who?” or “what?” after the verb. (The word you were looking for on the cow is the udder.)😊
I don't envy those who are trying to learn Russian. Russian Russian myself, I am currently studying English, and I can say that English is not difficult to learn from the point of view of a Russian person
Мне нравится could be translated with : please me To make sense of the use of the dative. In french ; me plait or German (even better because it is also dative case) gefällt mir.
Hello there, and thank you for your wonderful channel, and for all your work for so many years. There is one methodological thing, however, that I regret. I don't understand why, when introducing a new case, you always started with the tables and endings. It seems to me that students need to know what the teacher is talking about first, before s/he gives them practical rules, exceptions, consequences and results. Why not explaining first what nominative, prepositional, accusative, dative mean, with very simple and clear examples; and then get to the nitty-gritty of the case?
When you have both the indirect and direct object pronouns in a sentence, is there a preferred order? For example, in the English sentence, "I gave it to them", the DO pronoun comes first. We do not say "I gave to them it." Since Russian is an inflected language, word order is not essential. Nevertheless, is there a preferred order?
Здравствуй Дарья, Спасибо большое🙏 I have a question. In the sentence "режиссёру нравится актриса", why "актриса" has not been converted to "актрису" because of accusative case?

Best Part 25:31 🤣🤣❤❤
What kind of keyboard do you have on a Russian computer in order to type Russian alphabet?

We do not say "I gave to them it." Since Russian is an inflected language, word order is not essential. Nevertheless, is there a preferred order?
Depends on the sentence, but in your example 2 ways are possible in russian.
Здравствуй Дарья,
Спасибо большое🙏
I have a question.
In the sentence "режиссёру нравится актриса", why "актриса" has not been converted to "актрису" because of accusative case?
актриса is not in accusative here. if we said режиссёр любит актрису, it would be accusative:)
