Totally agree with what you guys told about articleship, I too done my articleship in smaller firm like Harshit- the diverse work nature, different cases, leadership, advisory, and client centric behaviour .
I used to assist growing startup cfo in understanding the complex tax laws, an offshore IT company from accounting to tax finalization, fraud analysis and MIS in an agricultural commodities export entity, tax planning, assisting in ERP implementation to one of the very old business having complex verticals, meeting revenue department commissioners on behalf of clients, and different cases from clients...
its true that there are lot of expectations from you when you are in small firm and its also very exciting if you have analytical skills and business acumen.

Working in a big 4 firm is hundred times better, atleast they pay you a reasonable stipend

I m doing my articleship in a very small firm in which I am not even getting those benefits which sir mentioned. Strict working hours, no one to teach, only 2 articles,

You should definitely change. What is the point of doing an articleship where you barely get paid anything and learn nothing at the end of the day other than learning how to work like a mindless donkey???
