We've spent not enough time in Norway and are heading back for the month of July. Your tips are great, but we agree with many of the Norwegians who've commented that cash is not a thing here. Great video and loved the AirBnB you had!!

Will be visiting for the second time in June. This time, we're venturing beyond Oslo... I can't wait.

Oslo is a great city, but it doest really give you a taste of what Norway really is, so have your expectations there after :)

And also, In Norway cash won't get you far. Foreks, You cannot rent a car with cash. And many places they have an upper limit on cash. Would suggest having a card with Visa, American express is accepted many places but far from all. Visa is the way to go in Norway, if you wan't it hassle free. Or any credit card. :)

Visa, MasterCard and BankAxept are accepted just about anywhere in Norway, but BankAxept is a Norwegian only system.

The scenes in the video were incredible. The footage was from what areas/towns?

Sure! If you search "Tiny house in Flåm with rowing boat" on AirBnB you should find it. We HIGHLY recommend it!

Cash in general is a bad idea in Norway. While every institution is required to take cash payment, 99% of the population pay by card. Many places wont accept cash even if required to do so. We are more or less a cashless society.

No, they're not actually required. There were talks about making a law that would require this, but accepting and handling cash is expensive, so the commercial operators are against it. This is one of those things that seems weird until you think about it.

Nothing that I didn’t know already. Most of what you said is common sense, yet again most people lack of it, so it’s ok that you brought up all this.

Forget the money. We Norwegians use cards everywhere. Just see to it that your bank allows you to use yours outside your country.

Should people still bring money in case debit/ credit machines are down? This happens in Canada and Ireland.

Why sleep on the same bed if you are using seperated duvet's, your better off sleeping on Twin Beds your chances of rolling off are far less, your separate anyways?

Interesting idea...though if you're on separate beds your chance of rolling off is double? At least this way you still get the best parts of being on the same bed with the ease of separate sheets(ish).
