Maybe because the band was called "Dodgy", it was one of my favourite bands from the Britpop era, but I always thought the name of the band could have been better.
@@WoodyGamesUK Are the likes of Pulp, Blur, Oasis or f-in Radio Head any better really? (talkin' about the names here, I'm into most of em musically myself) Dodgy's just been left in the shadow of the others making so much fuss of themselves, so it's both general public's and media's fault they're obsessed with the maximum of 1 or 2 bands or an artist at once, writing and praising 'em and being unable to have any sort of variety. Perhaps Dodgy's just too good for publicity anyway, sometimes it's good to keep some hidden gems to yourself.
It's not like the greatest thing ever, but very surprising it's no bigger hit and better recognized of the time. It's very melodic tune and 90's guitar pop-rock's written all over it.
@omegalipsis I'm with you dude. This is a great song. Gonna post it on my facebook. I think a band I was in supported them in Bristol once. Amazing three-piece band.
Their best song by……far! Listening to it for over 30 years! Just makes me feel happy when I need some happiness
Absolutely agree there!
Good old memories,1995,zante,greece
Love this tune...used to listen to it when I had a breakdown at age 18...to much pot..... still listen to this band now 41 years old...
Still here in 2020 !
Probably one of the most underrated songs made
What a great band.
Oh, yes, please...let me go far!! I just need the energy...love this band still.
Why is this amazing song so underrated?
There are enough similar songs

2021 pop pickers
Forget 'Good Enough'. Dodgy made so many songs that were better.
I don't mind "Good enough" either, but it's confusing these other singles aren't more commonly known, very high quality and catchy guitar music.
Seen them live in Greece, don't even remember when!
Brilliant😁
Sounds like Crowded House at the beginning
@@louwoods1641 I cant think of the exact one but it really does sound like crowded house for the first 30 seconds or so of this song
