I finally picked this game up after hearing a ton of people call it a hidden gem and I’m so glad I did. This is such a wonderful game. Thanks for doing this deep five
Yeah, it's not a bad game, but it has to be what you're looking for. I prefer Rune Factory for the hybrid of the two genres, and admittedly got burnt out on it during my streams as that was playing it twice concurrently. But it's not as bad as I sometimes make it out to be.
Yeah, the game has its flaws. I still prefer Rune Factory over it as a full RPG/farm sim hybrid, but it was a nice first attempt. If Square Enix tries to make a series of it, it could in time become a good competition for Rune Factory in the niche, but I doubt it will happen.
Moonfruit are drops at chapter 10+ from enemies from what I've read. They are trees and sell for 100 each but are active literally all year round. Btw, after story quietnus stops happening. Though, you can go in well at anytime due to story. Of course, during quietnus you can go to well on farm for special dungeon. Only during quietnus though. Which is the day(s) betwrrn seasons. In other words, four times a year. I haven't gotten far enough to do this stuff still learned about both.
Yeah, Moonfruits do drop later from specific enemies. They're basically bananas. And yes, once in post-game, you can access the Quietus dungeon year round, which is good, because there's materials you need from the bottom several floors to get some of the best upgrades for things like weapons.
SPOILER about the last 2 Jobs. They're considered hidden jobs, the easist of the 2 is gained after completing all fairy orders and its an elemental mage class that calls on the fairies to help you do elemental damage. The more difficult one to get is the Samurai and it requires a lot of running around and gathering things and is only able to be unlocked VERY late in the game, and if you can guess its a katana sword-wielding class. I honestly feel a little bummed that you can only unlock these so late into the game cause by that point I'm basically done and wont be able to play the jobs much. Even tho these types of games are basically infinite I personally don't see the point in playing once the story is over or if I've achieved everything that I wanted to in the game. Overall great and informative video! While I knew a decent amount of this info cause I'm prone to googling anything about a game I'm playing as soon as I have a question, I was still able to learn some things from it so I appreciate it and the effort you put in!
This is a dumb question but how do you remove or move the fermenting barrel and feeder. I accidentally placed it inthe middle of my farm and i cant move them now :(
It's not a dumb question at all, as the game doesn't explain this at all. In order to move your processing machines, you'll need to use your hammer to break them down. They'll go back into your inventory (assuming you have space) and can be put back down where you want to put them.
Until you advance your wind fairy orders high enough to get the ability to do so, you can only plant one seed at a time. Once you unlock that ability, you hold down the key/button for item usage while having your seeds selected, and it will charge up through the various levels. Goes single seed, three seeds in a row, and then nine seeds in a 3x3 grid. At the point I'm playing at, I haven't unlocked a third tier, but if there is one. it would likely be 25 seeds in a 5x5 pattern.

Thank you for this video! You’ve helped me understand more about this game.
Thanks for sharing this
Especially about the trees part, they seem good to have but I didn't know for sure how to deal with them
No worries. I hope you can find more useful stuff to improve your experience with the game.

How do I plant more seeds? I can't seem to bring them up to plant
