Beautiful and simple 4:45
Love the new Bench !
Love your videos, wish they could be a little longer!!
Hi Danielle, that garden bench came out great 👍👍, it fits and looks perfect right there! One winter I made three obelisks out of thick branches I cut from trees in my yard, then I took the bare branches of my forsythia bush and some bittersweet branches and wove them all around the bottom middle and top of the branches for some interest making what look like three grapevine wreaths. They came out great and look right at home in my cottage garden. I also made an arched trellis out of branches in my yard with a grid pattern. I used wire to secure all these pieces together. It was fun to do and best part was it was all free!! 🎉😍
So cute … and Grace ❤❤❤❤
Danielle, I took an old tree stump that was cut from a tree, which had a cavity in the middle of it, and one on the side. I placed it in my vegetable garden, just for an accent piece, and planted it with a succulent on the side opening, and an artemisia on the top. The artemisia gracefully cascades down the sides of the tree stump. It's a nice, natural accent for the garden which didn't cost me anything, except for the plants. The silvery-white color of the artemisia plant contrasts perfectly with the dark color of the tree stump.
What a lovely idea!
Looks like it was always there!
Lovely bench ❤ Danielle
Love the bench and your flip flops! 🩴I won't both!
What a dreamy view from that charming bench!! Absolutely LOVE it!!
Good morning! Danielle, that is a beautiful bench, and it is perfectly placed.❤...
Many years ago, while we were on vacation, my husband picked up a large stick. He used it as a walking stick for the week. He then brought it home with us and put it in the ground in our garden. It has been there ever since... the birds love it!! They use it to sit on and scan the garden before coming in to feed. And this year we have a Hollyhock using it as a support.
Love it❤❤❤
Love this!
I love this!
Love it. Perfect location.
Love it!
beautifull idea and beautifull garden
I love Grace so much.
Such a perfect addition to Grace’s garden, I love it! It is really fulfilling to create something out of things you already have! My faux porch in the main garden was built out of lumber and things used here on the farm. It’s very special to me! The kitty sleeping on the bench is perfect 🤩
Danielle, the bench is perfect in the spot you chose.
Very cool!😎
I love your bench!! Stacked logs are also great habitat for wildlife! 🎉
Love it Danielle!
The bench looks amazing and fits perfectly! Since I started watching your videos during COVID, I never saw Harry. What a beautiful and sweet kitty. ❤
Just lovely - your woodland aesthetic is just my taste! Your garden is inspiring. I turned a ground stump into a zinnia garden and bordered it with rocks I had on hand - the organic matter from the grounded stump is fed the seeds and my zinnias and cosmos are going crazy this summer.
Looks so good. ❤ I made an arch with some whipped thin trees. Just burying the ends either side of the path and join the top ends with wire. Last Christmas I made a twig star to sit at the apex. Everyone always comments about it. Looks amazing
Very nice.
Absolutely love it. Looks like it was made for the setting from the get go.
How fun, that bench looks perfect there!
❤❤❤❤❤
It's meant to be! It looks so pretty. I love this idea!
Love the bench!!
Love love the bench🥰 now I have to try it💖
Lovely!!
I did a backyard revamp that my landscapes did bring in gravel for and soil to help with re-grading for proper drainage, but we found enough rocks and flagstones existing on the property (rocks are everywhere since it’s Pennsylvania, the flagstones I think were from an abandoned project from a former owner of the home) to make a step stone path through the middle and rock borders for some shade beds and it’s now a beautiful relaxing tidy oasis instead of a small muddy weedy buggy half dead lawn.
Your garden looks amazing! The bench is perfect!
Love it!♥
Love this, and love working with what I have on hand :) We did a similar bench not too long ago, but used stones (because we had some on our rocky property). I reaaaally like the look of the logs, though, and especially with the added benefit of providing more pollinator hidey holes :)
Great idea! Looks great.
Cute!
Just beautiful and a sweet tribute to where ur fur baby rests.
Love it!
Love it!!
Your bench looks great and fits perfectly in that spot! Nestled into the spot with the kitty is perfect 🤗
The garden bench is so perfect! 🤩
Flower Garden beautiful.. 😘😘🥰🥰😁😁😭😭👍👍💐💐🌷🌷🌹🌹
I also love Gardeners World! 🙌🏻🌱
Grace is a precious baby❤
Always more fun to "shop" in your own garden/yard for materials. Love it💜
Pretty sure i saw you yesterday at Longwood Gardens.
The bench is perfect!
Super duper sweet idea. Looks like it has always been there. Love the kitty touch on top, you will think about the sweet cat more often.
Wow! That turned out so beautiful! Just when I thought this morning that I needed to add a bench under my service berry tree that looked natural. ❤
What a great idea. We have lots of logs and even a slab that could be the seat. I just sent the idea to my husband - hint hint. Your garden is just beautiful and I love all your changes and additions.
Wow! What a perfect piece of slab it looks great 👍🏽
Looks great Danielle. A perfect fit. 😊
Sooo charmingly whimsical! Bravo!!! I love it ❤ 💚🌿
The bench is beautiful and perfect for the spot you chose for it. What a fun project. Thank you for sharing.
Danielle it's a perfect idea !!!!😊❤
Love this Danielle
Love it…I thought the Grow in Grace sign might hang on the garden library
Exactly what I was thinking! ❤Perfect spot for that! 🙌
Hostas look nice, the bench fits into the setting.
Love the bench. What a good idea.
Love the bench. Perfect setting for it
I love that bench! The napping cat statue couldn’t look more perfect.
I love your bench and garden area is just beautiful!
❤
I love the bench! Look so nice!
Omgosh I love that idea!!!
The bench looks great in the spot where you placed it! How did you stabilize the logs underneath so they won't move when sitting on the bench? Love this idea! 😊
That looks great! 😊
Beautiful.
I love it!
Bench looks great! How do you keep the logs from moving?
Love the bench but what keeps the logs from rolling and shifting?
I love the bench and all of the hostas in your yard! I wanted to ask - have you ever had a problem with Hosta Virus X? I recently learned about it and low and behold am noticing it in some hostas I recently split.
I’m totally using this idea! Thank you! 🫶🏽🙏🏽
Thank you Danielle, your new garden bench looks wonderful, I just hope those logs don’t decide to shift on you. 💐💚🙃
Great looking bench. I created a small bench using extra stepping stones and a piece of random wood. I have plants on them! 😊
I love the bench! Wow!
That is perfection and came out beautiful. What a fun project
Love love the natural bench it looks like it’s been there forever. No other place in the garden would it work! Plus you will sit and enjoy!!
Checked out Gardener's World....Your bench is far prettier! And the surrounding garden is far prettier too!
Oh my what a great idea! The bench looks great! Danielle, what kind of ferns do you have there? I have some dying juniper (due to shade) and would like to replace them with medium size ferns.
My son just completed my antique garden ends bench with cedar boards!!
Loving this bench! We have SO much wood around, we've definitely have been looking for inspiration for our new U Pick flower farm and our own gardens.
Looks great. Thank you for the inspiration. I think I have the materials too.
This is such a naturalistic and beautiful touch - I love it!!! But I know if I included anything like that in my garden the slugs would get the hostas! How do you manage your slugs and snails? Would love any tips on this as they constantly eat all my seedlings, dahlias and veg!
Excellent job!! Good for you! Love it!🙂
We had to cut a big tree and we’re making a ‘natural’ play area for the kids
So quaint and lovely!
Yes it looks great
Looks fantastic!
❤
Great job!
Love it!
I love it!
