Lexus lost money on every LFA sold. Which was about $300,000 American. Now they are all selling from anywhere near $700,000 starting to about 1.5 million. Each LFA is different. I seen one at Lexus at Henderson. Employee snuck to the back and showed me it. They employees can’t even clean it. The highest mechanic and the ceo are the only ones allowed to touch it. And you can’t even wash it either. I can see why these cars value are high. I would sit on one for another 20 years. It might be 5-10 million. You never know this is a piece of history we won’t get back.. If you made it this far just know we have two ears and one mouth. Listen before you speak and you life will change you when actually start to listen❤

I saw this car in person and it looked immaculate. I was driving on the 15 and it stood out like a sore thum, I drive a purple corvette and pulled up and they all looked at me weird because I was stunned seeing one in town. So nuts. I think I saw it being sold for about $350k which was crazy.
I'm a handyman and have some pretty affluent clients, I love the opportunity to see their art collections and I only see what they keep at summer homes.

In UK we have insurance categories for write-offs and the two lower categories allow the car to be sold to domestic customers for repair, when you buy them back its usually a fixed percentage of the vehicle undamaged regardless of overall value or cost of repair. For instance for the more serious of the two Cat S the cost to buy back is usually 7% of the overall valuation.

If you've never crashed a car in your life, you've never pushed the envelope in any car. My first crash wiped out my dad's '71 Plymouth Satellite Sebring. Missed a curve on a wet road; took out a telephone pole. It landed on the roof of the car, but I managed to crawl out by ducking down on the seat at the last second. Successive crashes taught me a lot about handling, braking, etc. There's a lesson to be learned after every crash, if you live. 💥 ☠

Car came to a stop, body was pretty dinged and scratched up, airbags went off, The whole car taught me about how to buy a car, what to look for when buying a car on the used market, how to handle a car through turns, it made a little over 450whp but luckily power was never an issue. Never really let the car get away from me on the throttle. I was slowing down from a pull, solid quarter mile in between me letting off the throttle and hitting the turn. I just couldn’t see Taught me about how to deal with the insurance, what to do when you get the car back, it’s a whole experience to live by

Funny thing is that the area I live near…western suburbs of Philly (think Main Line) the ppl with the actual money were driving the same (but nicer!) 123 chassis Mercedes wagons. And they still do today, just newer wagons. It was a real eye opener. The “ballers” with the newest s class cars were often leveraged to their eyeballs.
