@@samspade8830 yes man! in certain parts of the country there is absolutely amazing cars.. from LFAs to Carrera GT to Ford GT, Toyota 2000GT, Nissan 2000 GT-R, Ferrari SF90, 488 Pista, Lamborghini Countach, there was also a Mclaren F1 #63 I believe, and a Ferrari F40.. and so many others
So the LFA was purchased for less than the price of a set of tires for it.

I was just checking LFA prices a few hours ago… if you check from 2018-2022 (now), the prices have risen considerably. It’s insane that this happened lol
No different than the NSX. At one point you could get one for 20k or less and now the cheapest you're going to find is in the 100kish range or more. Original NSX... not the new abomination.

Lexus lost money on every LFA sold. Which was about $300,000 American. Now they are all selling from anywhere near $700,000 starting to about 1.5 million. Each LFA is different. I seen one at Lexus at Henderson. Employee snuck to the back and showed me it. They employees can’t even clean it. The highest mechanic and the ceo are the only ones allowed to touch it. And you can’t even wash it either. I can see why these cars value are high. I would sit on one for another 20 years. It might be 5-10 million. You never know this is a piece of history we won’t get back.. If you made it this far just know we have two ears and one mouth. Listen before you speak and you life will change you when actually start to listen❤

I'm a handyman and have some pretty affluent clients, I love the opportunity to see their art collections and I only see what they keep at summer homes.

Rob did this story in his channel while back I think it’s alittle more in depth this was a young kid that did all this, pretty sure he went on adventure drives with rob. Pretty interesting stuff.
I saw this car in person and it looked immaculate. I was driving on the 15 and it stood out like a sore thum, I drive a purple corvette and pulled up and they all looked at me weird because I was stunned seeing one in town. So nuts. I think I saw it being sold for about $350k which was crazy.

In UK we have insurance categories for write-offs and the two lower categories allow the car to be sold to domestic customers for repair, when you buy them back its usually a fixed percentage of the vehicle undamaged regardless of overall value or cost of repair. For instance for the more serious of the two Cat S the cost to buy back is usually 7% of the overall valuation.

This is true from my experience. I worked at a paintball field in the middle of a 1500 acre protected forest in England, the owner of the forest is a billionaire and drives a toyota yaris, wears plain clothes, eats normal food, really down to earth guy.

I ran into this LFA dumped outside a collision center in a very run down area of New York. I drove by and couldn’t believe what I had just seen so I spun around to have a closer look.

Ha. Around 1998 i had my first Mercedes, a used 300TD that i fixed up. Funny thing is that the area I live near…western suburbs of Philly (think Main Line) the ppl with the actual money were driving the same (but nicer!) 123 chassis Mercedes wagons. And they still do today, just newer wagons.
It was a real eye opener.
The “ballers” with the newest s class cars were often leveraged to their eyeballs.
And we all wonder why insurance rates are so high…Evian “floods”? Sure seems like the insurance adjuster is really suspect on this case… SMH

You know it's the Costa Rican one because it's the only one with foglights. The owners specifically requested to have foglights fitted.
Insurance is crazy, you crash your car as a normal guy they inspect it and bust your balls over nothing, then you hear about people who make a living out of crashing cars and claiming insurance!

Born and raised in Montecito, Ca. Average home is 5 million or so. Known and friends with more than a few worth hundreds of millions. They don’t flaunt. You’d hardly know without seeing their homes. Maybe they’ve got a Mercedes or similar. Everyone does here but they dont tslk or show money. Always these guys here that don’t have it really that flaunt it most. No I don’t own a home anymore here. It’d be nice. lol.

@BW Did new floors for this family in their home probably 2 million dollar home they had like 4 range rovers all fairly brand new and a new jeep Cherokee. Not sure what their story was could've been billionaires I don't know. Honestly for all I know they had a garage condo somewhere with their actual nice cars. Or maybe they didn't.

Dammit man, I wish I could say “I’ve never crashed a car in my life”. Cars teach us a lot of lessons it’s unreal
If you've never crashed a car in your life, you've never pushed the envelope in any car. My first crash wiped out my dad's '71 Plymouth Satellite Sebring. Missed a curve on a wet road; took out a telephone pole. It landed on the roof of the car, but I managed to crawl out by ducking down on the seat at the last second. Successive crashes taught me a lot about handling, braking, etc. There's a lesson to be learned after every crash, if you live. 💥 ☠
@@themagus5906 amen. I crashed my Mustang. Came up on a turn too quick and the car understeered. Shot it right into brush. Car came to a stop, body was pretty dinged and scratched up, airbags went off,
The whole car taught me about how to buy a car, what to look for when buying a car on the used market, how to handle a car through turns, it made a little over 450whp but luckily power was never an issue. Never really let the car get away from me on the throttle. I was slowing down from a pull, solid quarter mile in between me letting off the throttle and hitting the turn. I just couldn’t see
Taught me about how to deal with the insurance, what to do when you get the car back, it’s a whole experience to live by
