Oh man, I wish it was 75% with Function keys like Nuphy.
Or just the Azoth but low profile. (it is a 75)
I wish they hacked off that stupid strip along the top.
Biggest mistake was writing REPULIC OF GAMERS on the center of the keyboard. Only reason im not buying this thing. Im not 14yrs like who thought this was a good idea.

Couldn't wait for the blue switch version, so I grabbed the red one. From someone who's hated linear switches in the past, this keyboard feels really good to type on. The pushback is just right.
Pretty cool. I just really dislike the forehead bezel and branding. Kind of surprised to still see this in 2024 but it is Asus after all. Other than that, really cool.

Too much cringe branding, yes. But the bezel isn't too large and the lighting can be cool depending on your setup's asthetics... Also it matches with their new G14 and G16 laptops...
That's the beauty of preference my guy. I wouldn't buy it because of the top bezel alone. Def would be very interested otherwise. @@houssamalucad753

asus are killing it, idk why they didnt' put mac keys on their 96% but they did it on this one and on the 75% azoth
Because nobody uses mac‘s, its weird really why they even put it on the azoth when no keyboard enthusiast uses mac‘s, mac users use cheap membrane keyboards and thats a law
still ABS keycaps and a non-standard keycap mounting and bottom row? man I hope Asus release some replacement keycaps

Thought if it doesn’t have rapid triggers I find it very interesting ...I hope they make the color black and also they will add some extra features in the bar in addition to media control, volum control, change profile and brightness keys.Great review like always
Low the low profile, the layout, the front extra function, in rgb too, not too bright but it might just help at night when it's dark, buuuuut it's white only so far, so yeah, i want this in black.

2.8mm total travel is impressive. Those just might be the fastest switches currently on the market.

@@TooFurious4 Basically key activation/deactivation registers quicker because the key doesn't have to be pressed/depressed to a certain distance, it is instant and you can repress a key before it reaches the end of it's travel and it still register. I probably haven't explained very well but look it up on google. Wooting, Steel Series and Razer have new keyboards with it. Wooting do it best, Steel Series are close behind though then Razer.

I’d get a corsair one, they sell one with silver speed switches. One of the fastest mechanic switches on the market if not the fastest. Excluding the optical ones ofc. But those optical ones don’t come with low profile versions

@@Altamimi911 if you don’t care about low profile, I’d go with the wooting. Nothing else compares on the market. Razer tried copying them, did better than themselves but couldn’t compare to the wooting. Steel series copied and got close. Pretty darn close but still not as good.

@@Altamimi911 I confirm what he said Unboundiing wooting 60he is still the best ...i have the steelseries apex pro mini i like the double association keys,but wooting 60he is the best with speed , razer is slower than steelseries and wooting.....now there are also Polar 65 and Endgamegear....but wooting is always the best i'll order me too

I will love this as I always was better typing on a laptop keyboard. I just seem to miss keys and I really dont like the louder keypresses on my k65 rgb mini.
Is this keyboard good for sliding keys? Fully press one key and slide to the next key beside it without lifting finger

I'm really digging the innovation on this keyboard. I'm going to have to buy one, I usually only like using smaller keyboards anyway. Edit: Been using this for the past day and I think the keyboard is amazing. I have the Razer Deathstalker V2 white edition but that keyboard costs as much as the ROG Falchion, but I think the Falcion actually has better features and better keys. It sounds much better to me than the typing on the Razer. I'm happy with this and surprised to see this coming from Asus ROG.

I have the full version of the g915 and I want to try 65% keyboards, is the Asus ROG Falchion RX worth it?
Bought it today. In a bundle with ROG Harpe Ace Aim Lab White. Actually for the UVP (it's like u getting the mice as a free bonus). Hopefully those ABS caps of asus are more durable than those of the G915 TKL...
These keyboards that are like 30%+ smaller than a regular keyboard.. costing just as much if not more is a terrible trend.
Yeah, I don’t get why no one seems to complain about this. These companies are thanking God for this trend,
It comes down to features, function and spec and components. We have lower cost keyboards including thin low profile options but you will remove items like premium switches, top metal plate, sound dampening material, higher performance low latency chipset, touch control, numerous onboard memory profiles etc.
In the end the priced is based on the feature set and specifications users have asked for.
With this noted we did have multiple version of the non profile Falchion for those who for instance did not want wireless and were looking for a lower price point. As such it is a possibility where we could have reduced options for a more basic model.
Hope this adds some insight into your question.

I like a lot of the products ASUS is dropping lately, but the Republic of gamers they like to paste on everything throws me off. Nuphy still gives people more ways to customize their board with switch selection and layout. Thanks for the content!
Btw if you don’t like it saying republic of gamers, you can take some electrical tape and cover it

Yeah I dont get the hype for these 60% keyboards. With their price do they really think regular gamers can buy this? It has to be for working professionals too

ASUS claims the coating on their ABS keycaps are on par with PBT. Have you been using any of their other ABS keys for a long enough time to test that claim?
No its not on par they will release the pbt version slightly more expensive in few months as usual.

It's not more low profile than the other 2🤔. The frame is taller the switches might be shorter but the overall experience feels taller compared to the rest. Also it uses armory crate 🤢
You have six onboard memory profiles and can adjust lighting directly from the keyboard. AC has also seen numerous updates to offer a solid experience and if you prefer you can also use our decouple utility with Armoury Crate gear.
What kind of glasses does techne use when he plays games ?
I use my main daily glasses.

But I do always wear okay frames, I just love the straight arms.
@@TheTechnethat's one thing a hate about gaming glasses is the discoloration it does to the picture. When you are playing games you wanna see the true colors.

and by low profile you mean basic non extra loud keyboard , cant they just make them actually low profile like a laptop keyboard?

Actually I've been using corsar k70 low profile for a year or so and low profile for both gaming and working was great. The only thing that was bothering me was the size. If that wasn't the case, it would be still sitting on my desk. Mechanical switches in 2024 is kind of boring. We have optical or magnetic switches on the market. Now I am using apex pro mini and rapid trigger for gaming is definitely something more companies should go for. Low profile 75% keyboard with rapid trigger is something I would go for, if that existed.
already discounting the v3 on the shift rattle. Valorant silent jumping and god knows what other normal game uses that has, that would bother the hell out of me on a daily basis. Considering now the ROG falchion youre showing off here versus the K Max Equivalent from keychron.
Why do reviewers have such a hard time pronouncing falchion? It's a sword....

Very gamer aesthetics, but if you want a low profile keyboard, the LOFREE Flow is far better. Far, far better. Yes, better than Nuphy.
Haven't tried the others but agree the Lofree flow is great. Been using it for months as my work keyboard.
@@wartornfey I'm very surprised they can make a low profile feel like this. Only downside is no 2.4ghz connection, only bluetooth or wired. Bluetooth works fine for me but there is a noticeable latency when playing FPS games or anything else that requires low frequency. I just plug it in but hopefully next version has 2.4ghz.

I actually think it's not low enough, looking at logitech, razer or keychron, they all manage to get their keyboards *flat* and at around 22mm height.
Also kind of dislike the branding 'header' and the font of the lettering.
Really sad, besides this it sounds like an amazing keyboard, but I think I'll wait upgrading from my g915 tkl.
