    • @maxhunglorenzo474

      +ncode03 ya he is as good as many good starters(aka Reggie Jackson, Kemba Walker, Brandon Knight, Goran Dragic and Bledsoe) in the league but he sacrifices his chances to shine for the team as always. Even James Harden had mentioned this and praised him.

    • @ncode03

      Lin and curry are the type that helps a team not just on court, they signed a much smaller contract than what they're really worth.

    • @iHasCaek
      @iHasCaek 8 років тому +4

      +ncode03 not to take anything away from curry being a decent guy, but he was given a smaller contract at his last signing as the warriors organization were unsure of his health going forward. i dont know if you remember him having repeating ankle injuries early on.

      How many players consistently score 35 point with 4 assists and 5 rebounds?
      Literally no one 😂 , he also wasn’t a normal starter, didn’t get the chances…(until someone got injured and they were forced to put him in)
      He literally dealt with that throughout his whole career…

      @@snickyg1717 He played 23 games in the regular season allowing Vanvleet to recover from injury. He attended practices and scrimmed with the starting lineup. He had to stay fresh (despite knowing he most likely won't play), so if someone went out with an injury, he'd be ready to play. Just because he didn't play doesn't mean he didn't contribute to this championship. Grow up, an NBA team doesn't comprise of just 5 players.

    So effing flawless and not rushed when unleashed - Freethrows, shots, body positioning for a charge, rebounding position, passes, court vision/awareness of teammates movements, his movements and measures up the opponents ability to move/anticipate/height and distance of jump like he is actually doing quick mental calculations in his freaking head - High Court IQ. When the hell will the NBA/team coach let him be himself and play at this level excellence without being benched, played with overly egotistic teammates/team captains and just have him run "his" show with his teammates? If he was not Chinese and was African American, I bet you he would have been allowed to score 30 a game average with shit load of assists for the past 6 yrs and will be playing himself into the basketball hall-of-fame one day. People and the entire NBA business apparently is not ready for him after Linsanity and had to waste his talents in Houston, the Lakers and D-League. It's a freaking shame to humanity that should celebrate those with true athletic excellence and a damn shame to the basketball profession at large. I don't usually defend any of the players in this regard, but of the 25+ years of watching basketball I recognize this one to be a true talent

    Thank you Michael Jordan for giving Lin a chance to play in a team where he can lead you into the playoffs without having ballhogs like Melo, Harden, and Kobe. He proved himself in New York when given the chance, but he needs to have the ball to set the pace, drive to the basket and pass off to open teammates. But if he does not have the ball he becomes a mediocre player, since 90% of his game is breaking down the opponents defense until he figures it out and he is not afraid to take the "big" shots...

They may not have the best talent, but not every team can be team play oriented, only a few in the league, like golden stats warrior and spurs. Lin's potential can be fully unleashed in this situation, but wasted in core player oriented team.

    When he's healthy and be assigned a suitable role he's capable to make a contribution like this. Given his condition isn't as good as before his serious injury, I wouldn't expect a team to give him the role as in this clip (even this was a rare starting chance with the Hornets!) now, but still he deserves some minutes when the team wants to rest the starters and run some set-up plays. He's much more an organizer than a catch-&-shoot guy. Use him as the latter then deprive his minutes according to his not-well performance just wasn't the right way to run the team --- if what the team needed was a role like this, why signed Jeremy instead of others? I thought the raps was looking for an experienced PG to run the game and rest Kyle and Kawhi a bit, but now both of them play like 40 mins a game and I'm totally confused...Anyway, they're in the finals, so maybe people like me should shut up.

    Nowaday, Lin doesn't have this kind of fire power. He is currently the 3rd unit for the Raptors and only get to play during garbage time. Sad.

    J.Lin has it going all game but Kemba decides he should be the one too take the last shot. Also as Kemba fumbles the ball J.Lin free's himself up wide open for the shot, i kinda wish that Demar Rozan shot counted so that Kemba gets the blame for trying too be a hero. However the game goes into overtime n who else puts the dagger into the Raptors by sinking a clutch 3 n two free throws to put the game out of reach none other than J.Lin.

    We love you Jeremy!!! It's messed up how you were treated by the NBA since then and how you could have had an awesome career in New York, but because of selfish dumbasses, you never got to shine that much. You were also way underpaid for your performance. I would say you perform better than 65% of the NBA rosters.
