In 2019, he became an NBA Champion with the Toronto Raptors. He still don't get enough respect in the NBA. God still not done with blessing him with good health, talent and opportunities abroad. Its a sad story of potential being over looked because of race, and the victim starting to believe his critics. Then all of a sudden everything aligns for him but still his critics would not believe and he had to do it again and again.I feel with the same potential and different colour this would have been a respected player in the league.I dont thinking anyone was racist though, Lin just became a victim of stereotypes which he overcame by his sheer will

The fact he only got one offer, and that was from Houston because of the Yao Ming marketing effect, showed how truly racist the NBA was and still is! Still remembered all the other players saying he wasn’t anything, questioning why Lin was on the cover of Sports Illustrated! That if he was black, he would not have gotten so much attention! These black players showed their true colors because of their ignorance to how difficult an Asian player had to go thru the varied prejudices cause he wasn’t black! Caitlin Clark’s current problems and prejudices she is facing is a continuation of what Lin went thru. The black players do not like the special attention she is getting, even though she is capturing new fans. Again, they are racist but the progressive sports media won’t report it that way! American sports is still racist but we can’t accuse the black athletes whenever they’re racist cause that’s not the narrative the progressives pushes! Glad I really follow professional sports anymore.
