English is not Knowledge but its a Gatway to the Knowledge. If you can read and understand it You get to learn so many subjects / topics which many times are not available in your mother tongue. e.g You cant find Psychology Of Happiness, Cognitive Science, Behavioural Economics, Knowledge on Critical Thinking Skill and many more topics you cant find in Marathi ( or any other Indian laguage )
People who are curious and knowledge seeker will agree with my comment and those who are not knowledge seeker will disagree.
