You are not wrong that you hear some game-like music, one of the producers of this album/song was: Mick Gordon, known for the music of Doom, etc. And the song theme is similar to the Matrix movie, like Babymetal ladies are playing a game called Kingslayer and Oli is the character they controlling and is trying to escape the sad world. Or maybe he is playing the game and trying to enter the game instead of having to deal with the real world ??? Something along those lines.

Just caught the live performance at the World Kinen Hall in Kobe Japan. Mind f*** blown here as went way over my expectations here. Might be the best live collaboration i've seen in seveal years. Oli was so moved by the performance that he later said. That this might be the last time he performes this live. Unless Babymetal is there with them. Project Kingslayer was 3 years in the making. No one expected it would ever come to reality. To see it come out so brilliantly says a lot here. Might put this performance alongside with Rondo of Nightmare. So f*** good as only wish i was there to experience it. 🤘🦊🔥

One of the coolest things was at Reading Festival when Babymetal were quite new. BMTH was headlining that night and Olly said during his set “hands up for the best band to play Reading Babymetal”. Also seeing a bunch of bikers moshing to Babymetal was hilarious.
So I saw these guys headline at Download this year and my god it was the best thing I had ever been part of, I was in the moshpit at the front and the energy during this song was absolutely nuts

Honestly, this is how a real collab is done. Really get annoyed with "collabs" where the featured artist sings like a word or two. This almost feels like 60% Babymetal and 40% BMTH, if you really count the time each group sung in the song..... If you take away the swearing, this song/sound wouldn't be out of place in a Babymetal album, especially their last album The Other One, which a experimental concept album.... Totally agree, anyone that can keep still to a Babymetal song, or (GASP) a Babymetal concert, is a total red flag..... 😂😂😂😁😁😁🤘🦊🤘
Not as heavy as some of their old stuff, still good. They have made some changes to their music which is not bad at times. Gonna see them in Houston soon. Gonna see Hanibie also.
