It's definitely hard to spot. They slip it in there in the middle of the Japanese. But even Japanese itself uses a lot of english loan words. Like in english we have a lot of french words and words from other languages. Like deJa vu. Or when they use english words in a different way than they are used in english. Like how they say the 'limiter' of your heart. Not sure what that means. Heartbeat? When they say 'makeup' in Doki Doki Morning they aren't speaking english really. That is what they call it. You probably could say it in real Japanese but only old Japanese people would even know how. There is a youtuber who did a video coming up to people on the street in Japan and asking them to say the Japanese words for things that they commonly use loan words for. It's pretty funny. And there is some words that don’t exist anymore, which is why they replace it with a loan word. Like Japanese don’t have a word for coffee, so instead they use the word コーヒー (Kōhī). Maybe because it someone that never really existed in japan before Japanese were brought it by another country. And toilet is another one I believe (トイレ) Toire. Half Japanese here :))

I teach a couple classes of low level English learners and I have on more than one occasion embarrassed myself by not knowing a vocab word is a cognate. I'll find myself asking something like "does anyone know the translation of suffrage in Spanish?" They just look at me and deadpan "Mr., it's sufragia. Same thing." I think they find it entertaining that I'm learning almost as much Spanish as they're learning English. The only difference is I know all the history material, so they're trying to learn both, so I have it slightly easier.
So Oli was interviewed about the background of this song and the collab. with BABYMETAL. He said that the idea for the song came two-fold. The first was that he was playing a lot of Call of Duty and the goal of getting "Kingslayer" in it gave him some inspiration. The second is more political about Trump and others similar to him. I'll just leave it at that for now given the election situation at the moment. He said a lot of the idea of the collab. happened around the end of last year/beginning of this year when (at some point in that time) they were opening for BABYMETAL in Japan. The two groups are pretty friendly from being at the same festivals and shows together, plus Moa loves BMTH's music, so it was a pretty easy ask. Su and Moa actually recorded their part entirely in English, but Oli actually sent it back and asked them to please do part of it in Japanese. They did it and even sent the translation back so they knew exactly what she sang. This was my first experience with BMTH, and I have to say I'd personally love a bigger collab. between the two.

Babymetal has actually a decent amount of english in their music but it might be hard to spot. Some songs are even complete in english.
