Thank you for saving history! It is so sad that someone could just throw something so important in the trash! And the newer items people just toss out is very sad. There are a lot of people that could benefit from those things. It's pure laziness that people refuse to donate instead of pitching things in the garbage!! Thanks again.
Thanks for saving a piece of history! I am a saver/collector, and have one child who loves vintage, and the other could not care less! That is why good things show up in the trash, some people have not interest in vintage items. SO SAD! Glad you found that to save or share-GOOD JOB!
Seeing the personal WWII memorabilia in the trash was heartbreaking...Thank you for rescuing these precious pieces of history...God rest this Gentleman and all those who fought for our freedoms. LOVE ETERNAL
It’s sad that people just throw everything away. The pictures and documents from that soldier is such a great find, I can’t believe someone threw it away, thanks for saving these things😊👍
Thank you for saving the photos and documents. Sad that someone’s personal history was in the trash. Maybe there is someone out that would appreciate having these.
thank you for saving that amazing suitcase full of treasures from history. so sad that they would throw out such important things. So many new things that could be donated to homeless shelters with children and teen moms etc... and they just throw it in the trash. I love watching you because you save so many wonderful things and you care! keep up the good work! Can't wait to see what treasures you find in your next video. 😊❤️
That was incredible! So many interesting finds. I'm so so glad you saved the WWII briefcase. I would love to see a more detailed video of what you find inside. Man if you keep finding awesome freebies like that to flip you might have to invest in a larger car 😉
Incredible haul. Yes, I'd grab things I could actually use over what I could potentially sell or recycle. Not grabbing pipe and boxes of hardware, but I'm glad there are people who do. A half dozen various foragers and it would be half gone. Lots of large items I'd pass on, like the whiteboard, that I'd be happy to see someone else grab. Love your videos!
In my community, a non profit organization was founded to pick up useable items when students move out from our local university in the Spring. The items are sorted and stored until September when they have a giant warehouse sale. They sell the items to incoming students and raise lots of $$$ for our local soup kitchen.
I believe the box with the war pictures had old collectible sheet music on top. They are very collectable. Another person I watch on youtube always buys them. She sells some but has an entire wall full of sheet music in her home. If u need her name let me know and maybe she wants to make a deal. They have great graphics. Nice finds today. You could have made a tone of money on the stuff you left behind in trash piles .sorry u didnt have space to get it all.
That box of old photos etc is amazing. There is another youtuber that mostly does old Ephemera and she loves old photos! She would probably purchase that box from you! Thank you for saving history!! That 1941 photo of a boat I think is like the one JF Kennedy captained and I think they were called PT boats. Amazing
That is so sad that someone has chucked away someone’s life on the curb Fairplay to young ladies I cannot believe what people chuck away nowadays, so wrong, especially like World War II stuff
We don't do this in the UK. I did leave a furnished doll's house out on the garden wall. A few days later ì received a hand drawn thank you card from a little girl who's dad picked it up 😊
I was thinking the same thing. Would have been worth picking up for free. I am sure they need to pick and choose what they want to pick up. There is always another person who can come behind them and take them
@@MsPrecious61 yes of course. I was just thinking that since they are such young girls they might not realize it. But I completely agree only they can decide what and how much to pick up at any time. 😊
Definitely! I was very close to picking them up since we could ship them media mail, but the mini was getting very cramped 😂 Maybe one day we’ll have a van and sell full time and pick up everything🤩 lol. thank you for watching!!!
This might have been the day that the goodwill would come and pick this all up. Going through the neighborhood clean up. You just beat them and have great picks.
As for me,the war pictures are priceless. My father would have loved them. I still have his Ft.Sill,Ok.platoon picture displayed on my wall that I call my Patriotic Wall. I'm very proud of him and his service to our country. He wasn't on front lines or anything like that but he had to leave our mom six months after they married for 29 months.
Hi I live in England and never find any thing like this, I would be in heaven, I do collect beer glasses that people just leave in the street on a Saturday night out , keep safe xx
I would definitely use that big green bag to carry packages to the post office-- it looks like the perfect size. Great find on the electric griddle and all the new in box toys! Old war photos, especially anything that has to do with transportation, can sell well online. :)
A house around the corner from me has a ton of stuff in front marked free. I think the tenants took off and left the house with most of its contents inside. They left behind a video tape with one of their child's ultrasound on it. I'm a person who gets attached to items and I just don't understand this at all!
Thank you both, you found some nice finds. I can't understand why people puts good stuff like that in the trash, just crazy, they much be rich. You ladies did good ,congratulations.
what a video!!.......all the war stuff- sometimes you can donate that sort of thing to a war museum or a legion or history society.......Im not sure what you have in the states but in Canada we have legions of war vets etc that display and use some of that war memorabilia ........great save!!
My brother got pretty wealthy doing that starting his own business called the taxial store here in Connecticut. People throw stuff away would be surprised. I had a friend who found $10000 in a pocket of an old Fur coat they throw away they don't check pockets and old people hiding spots. And so yeah we called at the taxi store and my brother would pick up stuff that people didn't want any more updated you'd be surprised with they throw out. What do they say someone else's junk is somebody else's treasure.❤
It's hard when you move or start declutting. When I save it to donate half the time I change.my mind and keep it because I think I might need it someday. Alot of times I put good stuff out where people can see it and hope they take it. I know when.i move across the country in 2 years I will have to let alot go since it would cost more to move it than it's worth
That’s a good point. The area we garbage pick in also has no thrift stores so it’s hard for people to get rid of things in bulk. Thanks for watching ♥️
I was thinking it would be great if you could call a friend to help you get some of the stuff, then you said you were putting it 'out there' to let people know where the good picking was. Curious what was in the baggie full of coins, maybe jewelry too? If you traded in your little car for a van, the things you find on the curb would probably be enough to make a monthly payment on it, let the curb glitter pay for your van! I always wonder who it is that drags all the stuff to the curb, prob not the rich snob who can't be bothered to donate or put it on FBMP!
@@ladylove4087 People will place items at the curb and then make a post on social media labeled 'curb alert' to alert others to come get the items for free if they want them.
These people who throw this stuff in the trash absolutely disgust me! It's so wasteful when there are people in need out there. And that trunk with the World War memorabilia makes me so sad. Why isn't it that someone in his family didn't hold it as a rememberance

Fun stuff! Whats the first item that your going to make on the new grittel? Just curious 🤔.....OH and the jacket would come in handy this Winter here in MAINE! 🦌🐿🦂🦟🦟🦟🌲🐺
You know what you said about how wasteful people are is heartbreaking. I know these places take the merchandise and cut it, take markers and write on it just so people can't have it. Why would they rather destroy it than let someone have it?
9:52 this made me kinda sad because all those stuffed animals could have gone to kids wh would have actually wanted them but those people just threw all those away, and im surprised that they threw away brand new stuff, it mgoes to show how ungrateful people can be.
U guys need a truck Doggos in a mini how do u manage ..imagine all u could collect with a bigger vehicle.. Soooo much waste never ceases to amuse me ...Corporate America what a Mickey mouse outfit love ur vlogs ladies thank u

Thank you so much! It is sad to see what people toss. We’re glad we can make a small difference though. 😊 thanks for watching!
When you are rich and important I suppose a few hours of your time donating items is not worth sacrificing? Very sad I agree

Wow so much stuff, still in good, usable condition! "Just bring your kid out trash picking" 😂 exactly!
It’s sad that people just throw everything away. The pictures and documents from that soldier is such a great find, I can’t believe someone threw it away, thanks for saving these things😊👍

Can I ask why you leave so many good things that could be sold or donated?😮
I am shocked at what people put out for trash, obviously have way to much money, it’s disgusting really, but I’m pleased you found them x
Oh my goodness there was so much to pick up great haul 😲

Okay the Turbo Runner toy is so so fun to play with! Got one for my man a few years ago for Xmas and I get him one every year now. It's AMAZING!
The way that veteran just got thrown away like that...like he never counted or existed....ouch!!!

A local museum might be interested in the military history items
There may not be a thrift store nearby, but they could list it on Facebook market place for free.

Just Wow!
Hi from Wisconsin. Just found your channel & subbed. Loved going with you two, trash picking is fun. TFS. Stay safe & ✌
Thank you for subbing and watching! ♥️
There needs to be trash pickup trucks and....reusable items trucks to go to Reuse Shops!
I enjoy watching theses kind of videos would you believe I could UAE the deck chair for my computer.

I’m just seeing this video now. Don’t know what you did with the old war photos, but you could donate them to a museum couldn’t you? Nice finds!
Thermal mugs with handle and lid for coffee or tea
The old magazines, photos etc....local public library , historical society will take
This is making me feel sick. I know so many people that would want all that stuff in the trash. What a horrible waste.
Gave me anxiety watching you guys pass up on certain items lol
Somebody got put out/evicted - sign of the times - there are a lot of free piles in Portland right now

i found a flashlight, flute, (2) compass in one thing in a bush
Just wondering if the autographed footballs ended up being authentic or not.
Not sure, I (j) sold them stating that I was unaware of authenticity.
